Hey yall! Today's video is all about handbag features that drive me crazy! 🤪 This was inspired by a recent comment I received where someone mentioned that I was always really negative in my reviews. So I decided to run with it and put all the negativity in one video! 😅💜 I hope yall enjoy! 😊

I’m so confused as to how they came to that conclusion. Not once have you come across as negative in any of the videos I’ve watched. You’re thorough, honest, and so engaging in every single one of your videos. Plus you always bring light-hearted and fun vibes to the table. Not once have I finished a video from you and thought, “wow, she was really negative.” So idk what that person was talking about. 😆 keep up your great reviews. Always love your videos! ❤

You are giving your opinion. You are very knowledgeable about bags. I definitely think bags are your hobby like someone else having golf as a hobby. - I don't like a heavy or dark interior.

I would call your reviews comprehensive and thorough, not negative. I appreciate your honesty! And YES, thank you for mentioning the squeaky!! I actually refuse to use the shoulder staaps on the MSSB cuz of it. I was in a quiet book store the first time I noticed it, and it drove me crazy!! And I’ve already mentioned to you how sad I am about Lug bags and their ridiculous amount of pockets. I have actually zipped and clawed my way through multiple pockets trying to find the one item I’m looking for cuz I forget where I put it! I probably buy around 7-10 bags a year, and try to either give away or sell at least a couple at same time to keep my collection manageable. I think I have around 30 bags total.

No! You’re not overly negative! You’re honest! You buy a bag because you wanted it. And, if that bag could be improved you mention how it could be improved. But, you always end with, “But, I’m keeping this bag because I love it.” But, let’s face it, if you’re any kind of bag buyer, we all know Vera Bradley has raised their prices and lowered their quality. But, I still love them. And, Lug has had shipping issues for over a year, now. But, things are looking up. My last two purchases have arrived in actual boxes, not plain white mailer bags. But, obviously, I’m still ordering. ❤ I’m the same about lug. I just don’t use all the pockets. I use the built in wallet, if it’s on the outside with its own gusset, and I use the phone pocket, and that’s about all for outside pockets. I, personally, prefer a privacy pocket to the clear view pocket, but I’ll use those and maybe, sometimes, the cargo pockets. I rarely use the pocket on the back of the bag. That’s just me. Per year!? Try per month! 😂 On a slow day, I might get one new bag per month, but usually it’s closer to three. What can I say, I’m an addict. Have a blessed day, Amber! Love ya bunches! ❤️🙏

If anything your videos make us want to buy even more bags! 😂All the things you mentioned drive me crazy too. Another thing I don’t like is the inside middle pocket in bags. You mentioned in another video that you cut that out which is genius. That never even occurred to me!

I know you did not just pull out the MSSB as the first bag to critique 😂😂. That is so interesting though I never noticed the squeaky ness on the bag!! Omg now I have to go check 😂. I do agree with your point on point 2. What’s with the stinginess on pocket space? And the too many pockets/organization. Point 3 is another big one!! I love having a nice strap. I've never found your videos to be negative! I appreciate your honest reviews. They've helped me make informed decisions about what bags I would like to get and which ones not to! I recently watched your video on the new featherweight crossbody when I was trying to decide if I wanted to get it. I ended up purchasing the ultralight go ahead that you compared it to. No indeed Amber, you are definitely not negative!!! I enjoy your videos they are fun and informative. Everything is not perfect but that doesn’t make the video negative. You just keep doing what you’re doing on your videos. I haven’t found anything that works on my nerves concerning my bags maybe it’s because I like all of them so much. However, I didn’t like my 100 bag at all I just couldn’t make it work so I gave it away lol. My Carson hobo I gave it to my daughter, it was to north south. I like the Carson’s but not that one. I have the performance twill but I don’t hear the squeaky on them lol maybe I don’t want to😂 anyway thanks for sharing and showing this video 😊🌻👛👜💖🛍️🌹

I really enjoyed this video! I have never thought that your videos were negative. I love your enthusiasm and honest opinions. Don’t change a thing! What I hate about current bags is how small the inside slip pockets have become (Vera, are you listening?). Geez, why bother? I also dislike bags that don’t have at least one outside pocket. I could mention a few other things but I don’t want to sound negative 🤣🤣🤣

Definitely not. I have never thought that you are negative. I appreciate your honesty and love hearing both the positives and negatives of a bag review. I have purchased more bags than not, because of your reviews. Keep them coming 😊 I agree with all the annoying features you listed, especially sticky/scratchy zippers and too many pockets. I also don’t like when bags are heavy before you even fill them up.

I never thought negative, always specific and critical where it counts. I appreciate your attention to detail when it comes to user experience with handbags. I live in an RV so space is at a premium. I purchase one or two bags a year, and usually Lug. I’m a sucker for some thoughtful pockets (but not ALL the pockets) and I look to your specifics to help me choose. You own and use your bags so I find your honesty and opinion valuable. Keep on doing you!

I would call it honesty, too. All the bags I have come with pros and cons, no perfect bags. And I think it is more like personal preference if there is positive / negative thing in a bag you have, isn't it?? I'd rather hear bad than good because when I cannot see the bag in person at a store, I would like to know more about bad side of the bag I can't see would help me to make the decision. Please don't change the way you review by getting affected by comments. Also, I mostly agree with you when you talk about cons. Who would crossbody a huge bag of the bottom would almost come down to your knee? (lol) It's not a criticism.

In regards to your last complaint, someone on KZfaq recommend attaching 25mm quick release round silver circles. That’s what I do and no more problems! 😊

I think this person is confusing negativity with honesty. You aren't trying to convince us to buy the bags you showcase, even though in my case it may work out that way sometimes. You are showing us what you see as the pros and cons in an objective way and I love that. I always search your channel's name and the bag style before I purchase a Vera Bradley or Lug bag because I know that you will show all of the aspects of it and help me make an informed decision. (Definitely better than QVC! 😆) As for what bugs me about bags, the first thing that comes to mind is when the interior slip pockets are too big and floppy. It seems like everything ends up in there when I don't want it to be. (Does that even make sense?!)

It seems like they're either teeny tiny, or so big that they take up the entire interior of our bags these days. 🤦‍♀️ I miss the days of a nice robust quilted pocket in the VB bags!

You are not negative in your reviews. You’re real and honestly giving your views and giving your viewers things to consider if thinking about buying the bags you review. As you say not all bags will be 100% good for everyone and if 1 of your viewers thinks you are negative she/he isn’t realistic. I wouldn’t let that comment bother you. Continue keeping it real!

I admire the fact that you are critical b/c I for one don't have any of the stores available to me to be able to hold those bags or look at them up close and that's one of the biggest reasons why I enjoy your videos. We all have different likes and dislikes re purses, but I still appreciate your opinions - good and bad. I own roughly 20 purses, soon to be 22 ;) I really really want to get a vb performance twill triple zip hipster hopefully someday one will fall in my hands. As always, thanks for sharing, xo.

and these are all the same gripes i have with purses!!! And get a pencil and run it across your zippers .... graphite acts like a lube that makes zipper slide much better.

No. You're don't come across as negative at all. People now a days are way too sensitive and have no coping skills. They fact that people have different opinions is completely normal. We are human! We have different brains. And that's ok.

It can drive you bananas, right?! I really think that if they would make the hardware pieces just a bit bigger, so that the fabric wasn't so tight in them, that they would do that nearly as bad.
