Crystal said this is her first Crochet-A-Long. I don't know about all my fellow crochetrs out there, but she's the most fun I've had with the Cals I've done. I just love this square! I had never done the double loop stitch before and it is so cool! I am doing the squares in Caron Simply Soft from my stash and it is turning out amazingly! I am doing 2 of each square so that I can make a larger blanket. I am loving this CAL. Please do more in the future. I find it fairly nice and easy to set aside an evening once a week to working on a project for myself. Thank you!

I have been loving making all the blocks, and my husband looks for the new one every Tuesday! I am using just one-color yarn for them, and it is for a baby blanket. I need to post the first blocks soon so everyone can see them, right now they are on my blocking peg board. I am making this for a tiny baby, so I altered this one. all the rest I did the same, just in one variegated yarn, that my god daughter picked out for her son, I think they are looking cool. I only changed this one, because I do not like to have anything loopy, or too many holey areas in a blanket that I make for a baby. We unfortunately had one baby pass from SIDs in our family, and we are just all extra careful with everything. I hope that you like my alterations when you see them, if you do :)

Cute square! I did watch the double loop tutorial a couple days ago so that will come in handy. I'm having a bit of a problem with square three but I hope to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I think I'll work on this one and then go back to square three. This has been fun!

Hi Crystal! I have to say, I did try this loop stitch when you put the video out before the square and I wasn't fond of it BUTTTTTT, I did make this square and actually grew to like this stitch, yes there is a learning curve, for me it was the tension used around the 3 wrap arounds but it definitely got easier as I went along. I'm n to using the Sesame Street characters but I'm loving these squares. Thank you!

I'm going to do these in different colors with no heads. I love that you join colors like I do. I've seen other people saw that's not the right way. I've tried a different way and had it come apart so I continue this way. Hugs 😇 🤗

@Bag O Day is there a way to make the double loop into fringe???

Hi Crystal. Ive had to start on this square as the other squares before this are on backorder. Im fairly new to crochet, but I have a question. On the last round of this, the white round, you started with 2 single crochet and you pushed them over and then did another crochet. You didn't do 2 chain in between. I noticed when you got back around it was hard for you to do the slip stitch. I darn do the last round in case I do it wrong, but should I just be doing the what you did, or should I be doing 2 sc, 2 ch, 2 sc? Please help. Loved making this and Im so proud of myself for achieving it. I could not have done it without you. I think your freakin amazing x

Is the loopy part secure? Will it pull out buy baby fingers or being caught an something?

On the last round, you do 4 sc's in the 1st corner without a ch 2 between them? Is this correct?

Question: on the very last round, you switched to the white yarn, went to the first corner and worked four single crochets. You didn’t put any chain stitches between the single crochets. Then, as you moved down the side, you said to work one single crochet into each stitch until you reach the next corner where you’ll work two single crochets, chain two, two single crochets. At that point the video skips to the end where you sip stitched into the corner and tied off. So, do I work 4 sc’s in each corner, or do I work 2 sc, chain 2, 2 sc? Thanks!
