This build is insane! Our friends Rides by Kam built this stunning 1970 Dodge Challenger into what you see here. A 2500 hp bagged beast that showed at SEMA 2019 in the Meguiars booth and got rave reviews. Unfortunately we couldn't drive it as it's going to be doing the full show circuit here in the states over the next year following SEMA.
In this episode we take you for a full walk through of the details of the build and at least get to hear some of the crazy sounds it makes.
Sit back and enjoy...

We all had muscle cars back in the late 70s when I was in high school, and I know I'm not alone when I wish I would have held on to some of them. Now at 60, I get my speed fix on my Busa. 1. Speed is based on the gearing of the trans/diff and the aerodynamics of the car, not the power of the engine. A 500 horsepower car with the right differential and trans could hit 200 mph. 2. The car sounds terrible because of how large the supercharger is and the ammount of air it moves to make that power. 3. Horsepower is the ammount of power the engine makes, it doesnt matter if its in a Lamborghini huracan or a vw golf, a 2500 horsepower engine will have 2500 horsepower

WOW!!! That Challenger is so sweet, from the custom engine and its bay, through the interior which looks like it tried to incorporate some design features from the Paganini. Maybe the gauge clusters and buttons and switches around the steering column not to mention the start button, IGN, and arrow buttons on the center consul. Check out the shifter and the transmission encloser. It is far off from the Paganini design but you can still see a resemblance of the engineering that went into this 1 of 1 custom Challenger build. Again, WOW!!! 🤜💥🤛

2500hp. Sits for 99.8% of its life in a garage to look at. You cant "buy" true car enthusiasm. Money always make my eyes roll when they arrive at car shows.

@@NOTAM1 The point went right over your head mate. No one here is jealous, or criticizing the car itself. Only the owner. Rich pompus assholes who think they can "buy" their way into being a true car enthusiast. If that was mine, I would drive it till its wheels popped off, blown up 4 engines, and fixed it again. Any rich stupid asshole can walk up to Ferrari and buy some 2 million dollar car just to park it in their giant airplane hanger of other showpieces, or have some fab team make some wild concept like this guy did. That doesnt make you a car enthusiast, that makes you an "owner of expensive things that happen to be cars". If you cant differentiate the 2 then you dont know the true soul of being a real enthusiast. It's a generalization, but 9 out of every 10 times, moneybag guys dont know tit shit about cars. They just simply like owning them, or driving them. I can name just about every car, every option it had, every engine, every trans, every diff since the 60s to now, can hand build every single one piece by piece. I have built cars, and bought new cars. But one thing I NEVER do is just "own" it. It's not a painting on a wall, it's a purpose built machine. If you arent utilizing all 2500hp every time you take it out, you arent doing it right. If you arent breaking it, and then fixing it, you are doing it right. Most rich cůntş I run into at the track that show up with a 911 GT3 RS, or McLaren P1 dont even know how to change the oil on their wifes Toyota camry. And would FEINT at the thought of pulling the engine out of their precious baby to work on it themselves. So dont get the wrong idea. No one is envious, or jealous. Most of us look at that and think "what a shame". Again, if you dont get why, then your not a true gearhead. You can be proud to own something, but dont claim the title of car enthusiast. That would be like me putting on a police uniform and saying I'm a cop. Or wearing a basketball Jersey and claiming to be a pro. The title means something. Simply liking, or owning something isnt the only prerequisite to qualifying the lable.
