@Virginiaisforlowriders I can't wait to see what's done at mini nats. I just bought a legacy sliding rag for my sonoma that I plan to completely redo next winter. Kind of like your doing on the mazda. Definitely have learned alot watching your videos.

just an observation, cutting off the flanges, where the spotwelds are, is an area that sheetmetal can be spotwelded to... but i see you have a process that works for you.

I'll show in the follow up video how I go about attaching the floor to the besides again . Adding another flange or an additional piece of metal to weld back onto that old flange isn't necessary they way I laid it out worked out well.

I like roll pans...but not the goofy looking ones with angled license plates and stuff. I had a Sir Michael's steel drop tag roll pan on my old S10, and would run one on my current S10, but apparently Sir Michaels is out of business and it's been difficult to find a quality drop tag roll pan. It might get a Blazer rear bumper. I agree with your view on shaved stuff. As I've gotten older, I've become more interested in convenience and serviceability.

Yeah it might just be old age for me. I'm not totally against all roll pans they look good on some trucks s10s for sure since the body line was never made to accommodate a bumper in the rear to me it just looks better smoothed out. Square body ford's definitely look better with them and few others. Shaved stuff to me is a whole lot of work for potential headache later on if a door actuator goes bad or something like that.

@@Virginiaisforlowriders I install car stereos/alarms and I always hated wiring shaved handles, because I know if the battery goes dead I'm the first person they yell at. lol

you sound like you hate doing this work, like its a huge chore that you're not looking forward to doing. like its a boring job to do. Which will make a boring video. i'm new to your channel and am eager to learn what you have to show, but maybe have some enthusiasm, even if you have to fake it. Might help to get more subscribers and views. just an opinion... of an avid youtube watcher

Sorry I come off that way I have friends that say I'm emotionless (as a joke) . Being mono toned it does come off that way and that's not my intention at all. I also have 2 friends that said In this video specifically I sounded excited and really into it lol. I'm working on it !! I promise it will get better just getting used to talking to a plastic box is taking me a little while. Thank you for the input !
