Watching this on my predator helios 300 10th gen 3060 that still performs up till now. However this 14th gen is superb. I wont be replacing this till 2028. Bought this on in 2021

At first, I was thinking back in 2021 when my old laptop had blinking due to screen flickering, it was the Aspire 4755G 2011 model, intended to plan buy Helios 300 2020 model 10th generation with RTX 3060 graphics, that the price was expensive and decided to alter to the cheaper Nitro 5 2020 model with GTX 1650Ti graphics.

i7 lang ang malaking jump mula 13th to 14th gen kasi sa i5 at i9 13th gen ay halos walang pinagkaibahan sa 14th gen kaya kung i5 or i9 laptop ang kukunin nyo ay mag 13th gen na lang kayo kaysa sa 14th gen kasi mas makakamura ka habang ang performance ay halos parehas lang ng 14th gen

@@mykeviper Basta every month linisan mo ang heatsink at fans at check morin from time to time ang Thermal paste kung nag dry na pag dry na, time na for repaste. At pahingahin mo rin ang laptop di porket gaming laptop eh whole day ka ng maglalaro. ako every after 2 hours stop nako maglaro, then 2 to 3hours pahinga naman ng laptop

@@mykeviperyung sakin 10yrs na now acer aspire vx 15 araw2 ko ginagamit lagi naka saksak 2hrs lang pahinga daily 5yrs bago ko nilinisan loob sa fan lng napupunta mga konting dumi so far wala parin problema ginagamit ko lagi sa matitinding laruan lalo nung dumating mir4 at night crow for sure naman kung mapa abot mo 10yrs may pamalit kana bago wag ka matakot at mag inarte sa gaming laptop halimaw rin yan nasabay rin sa pc yan wag ka masyado mag bukas at mag linis sa loob ng laptop mo baka masira muyan once na buksan murin loob niyan void na warranty mo suggest ko sayo linisan mulang yan kada 3yrs or 5yrs tulad sakin 😂 basta wag musya ilapag sa maalikabok na sahig or lamesa para iwas higop mga dumi kung bibili ka fan suggest ko sayo ung mismong electric fan na tag 200 na mismo lalamigin tlga laptop mudiyan 😂

Ok. Quite a while... EXTRA TAKES~!!! Their new Predator lineups are showcasing the modern, minimalist design. Good step indeed, but there are caveats about it. By doing the modern, minimalistic design, it was steps below the Lenovo legion lineups kasi mas muted tignan ang legion... Let's talk about the additional pros and cons then... Pros: *Temps - compared before, mas mababa ang temps ngayon. I mean before, while doing AAA games at ultra settings usually sits around 70-95°C yung CPU, ngayon nasa 60's lang. HUGE WIN!!! *Screen - 16 By 10 aspect ratio l, 165hz, and WQXGA resolution is the sweet spot for today's gamers. More than those are already OVERKILL... *Port selection: madaming USB-A, at may sd card reader(yun lang micro sd - ISAMA NA SA CONS YAN!!! AHAHAHAH). Jokes aside, they're doing the legion approach na most of the ports are on the back which is good. *RAM - hindi tulad ng dati na tulad ng sa DDR4 Matindi ang bottleneck sa performance pag single channel lang. Yung DDR5 has only little differences sasingle vs dual channel. Now sa CONS naman tayo... *Design - nabanggit ko na to kanina na they aim for the modern minimalist design, but they fell short to it. In example mas malaki pa rin ang chin ng neo 16 kesa sa mga 16' variants ni Lenovo legion, medyo lambo-like paren ang design ni predator, it still says gamer in the design. Its like halfway muted. *Power brick: 330w na hindi parin Custom design. Mabigat pa. Chicony paren ang gamet nila, tapos masyadong mataas sa kuryente ang 330w. Sure it's for performance, pero nagbabayad din tayo sa meralco so High performance+low power consumption is *chef's kiss*... *Fan - kahit na sobrang ganda ng thermals ngayon nitong unit na to, well known si predator helios sa jet engine na fan noise + coil whine( 55+db with high pitch whirring sound). Kakamiss magbigay ng ganitong kahabang extra takes.🤣🤣🤣 Ingats peepz, especially may bagyo ngayon. More contents to come LF fam❤❤❤

for their nitro lineup now tulad ng nitro V, feel na feel ko nawala na ung lahat ng design ng lumang acer nitro 5 simula nung naging V. although maganda para sa iba, medyo na boboringan as well as na coconcern kasi, bagong mga graphics cards and chips asa loob pero bakit ung design eh iisa ung fan at nilalabas ung exhaust sa gitna ng hinge parang sa usual na business laptop na may i3 at mx350 na graphics card. kung matatanong mo ako, the Acer Nitro V lineup is like a hybrid of a business laptop na may specs na pang gaming

good question, to be honest hindi ko sure kung my bayad service fee for upgrading, but as im aware pag sakanila kayo directly bumili ng ram free ang service, ready n lang kayo 1-2k just incase, or better call directly acer

Similar situation I've made last month. Bought a laptop as a gift to my brother. I don't know which model year you're looking to buy, I'll assume 2023/2024. In my opinion Nitro V 15 can be cheaper but the screens are not as good as Asus tuf 15. Asus tuf is a bit thick while yung nitro v 15 looks more compact. In terms of performance it will depends on specs. for me I ended up getting the zephyrus G14 2023 for my brother.

I want to share my experience with the Predator Helios Neo 16, 13th gen variant. It has its pros and cons. For the pros, the thermals on this laptop are superb. Even when playing demanding games, overheating is not a problem. It also performs well in games, thanks to the high TDP of the processor and the GPU. However, for the cons, the CPU fan is not very durable. Once it starts to get dirty, the dirt can somehow destroy the fan, especially the CPU fan. I don’t know if this is normal for a laptop, but based on my research and experience, the CPU fan of the Predator Helios Neo 16 is always the first to break. My laptop is almost a year old, but thanks to Acer’s 2-year warranty, I just went to an Acer service center, and they processed the warranty and replaced the old CPU fan. I hope Acer can make their laptop parts more durable because, imagine, my laptop is only almost a year old and it already broke. So I hope Acer can do a better job in making laptops.

Based sa experience yung acer nitro lang may issues sa screen. Yung acer predator solid naman lalo kung maingat ka sa gamit.

Ung akin 2023 model, so far smooth na smooth parin hanggang ngayon. Every month nililisan ko ang fans at daily software update at driver updates. Dumedepende yan sa pag gamit mo, kung ilang months na clogged ang laptop mo dahil sa alikabok eventually masisira talaga ang mga components ng laptop due to overheating.

@@arigatu911 no problem sa hinges kung maingat ka magbukas. Basta sa center mo bubuksan ang screen hindi sa gilid para equal ang force distribution. Ung sakin naman kasi niluwagan ko ang hinges na sakto lng na di titiklop ang screen ng bigla .. Kung mahigpit kasi ang hinges mas prone sa damage.

magiging mahirap ang maintenance sa laptop na to same as 2022 Predator Helios 300, 2023 models ng predator Helios 16 at Neo 16 (including nitro 16). yung iba pinapalitan ng PTM7950 yung Liquid metal para same sa maintenance. as of now wala pa ako nakkikitang nagrerepaste ng 2023 model ng predator helios ngaun. but good side hindi mo na kailangan alisin yung buong heatsink assy. para maalis yung bara sa grills.

depende lang talaga sa pag gamit. Predator Neo 16 ko 11 months na din pero wala pang malala na problem. Yung CPU fans lang talaga pag naka MAX parati araw² eh bumigay. Good thing may warranty. Wag mo lang e max fans parati, 4000 rps lng goods na Solid hinge, yung screen solid pa din. Yung 2023 predator sense daming problem naka ilang uninstall ako nun kasi ayaw umilaw yung keyboard, hindi ma control yung fans etc. Pero so far na fix nila sa latest 2024 update ng predator sense, so far wala ng problema sa predator sense. And also make sure to install all games and software properly kasi pag corrupted yung pag install nag fe.freeze yung unit. Restart mo lang yung unit naayos na. And clean your unit regularly and your cooling fan to avoid dust accumulation. Yun lang talaga alagaan mo lang yung laptop mo treat it with respect, mag la.last long yan.
