Tour Scotland video of Clanadonia on the High Street after the Military Tattoo on visit to Perth, Perthshire. Clanadonia are the greatest tribal drum and pipe band to come out of Glasgow, This was part of the celebration of the 750th anniversary of The Treaty of Perth. The Treaty of Perth, signed on 2 July 1266, ended military conflict between Magnus VI of Norway and king Alexander III of Scotland over the sovereignty of the Hebrides and the Isle of Man. The Treaty was agreed three years after the Battle of Largs in 1263.

There is something so primal in watching them beat the drums and play the bagpipes. I know I have some Scottish and Irish in my blood and the music just brings it out more!!

I'm going to be housebound for the foreseeable future, and this music is keeping my sanity. When the walls are closing in, I shut my eyes while I'm listening to these guys. Then all of a sudden, imagination kicks in, and I'm out walking on some misty road with my comrades. I don't know where we're headed or what we're sent here to do just yet. . .but by God, they'll know it's us when we get there!

I've met him before at a Highland Games Festival in Pennsylvania, USA when I was 15 years old. (im 31 now) he and 'Clan and Drumma' performed at the fest. I use to have an autographed album of 'Clan an Drumma' (as they were called at the time) But unfortunately, it was lost in a fire. Along with a few other albums. Scantily Plaid album was another one I lost.... They performed at the same fest as these guys. This group was also the last group my Dad and I saw together before he passed away. Love this group SOOOOO much!! That man and his group are some of the most interesting musicians I've ever met! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃🥁 Ps. Yes. They bounced around alot and nope, they don't were anything under their kilts. 😵😳 Lol

Wow! Busting loose on those drums and pipes makes me feel like I should check out my ancestry a little closer as the music brings out a something in me that is programmed into my genes! I stayed at arrochar for a week on a motor bike touting holiday. 1st night stood near loch long We heard pipes being playd in the hills . Wow wot a welcome. .Ime frm Mansfield in notts. Robin hood land of thiefs n robbers. lol Loved to hear the pipes as I say . Wot a magical feeling it gave . God bless u all
