After being delayed by weather in Florida for a night, we depart Ft Pierce (FPR) for a VFR flight to North Eleuthera Airport (MYEH).
The Bahamas don't have the same level of weather reporting/forecasting we have in the US so I decided to stay low below the clouds to avoid the showers/thunderstorms. Miami Center helped with a suggested heading and described the weather they were painting on their air traffic radars. Due to the weather we weren't able to go direct but we enjoyed the slightly longer route by getting to see more of the islands on our way down there.
After landing we took a taxi to the boat dock and a water taxi over to Spanish Wells where we stayed the night in a beautiful home that came with a golf cart to get around the island on. We had a blast eating at the different restaurants, going to the beach, jumping off the bridge and just relaxing.
