It all ended where it started...shivu put that lord shiva statue under waterfalls so that he gets showered all the time...so the god made his wish come true...If he had showered 1000 times as the sage said , he would have just climbed the mountain successfully...But because he made the lord get showered all the time(basically infinite times),The lord made him a king to a kingdom...It was just my view,Not like that's what director meant...I was just sharing my thoughts...

Bonus fact - kalkeyas shown in this movie also really exist who get defeated by demon king RAVANA!

Some mysteries which remained unsolved even now - 1) What was done with Bijjaladeva, the father of Bhallaladeva 2) Who was Bhallaladeva's wife cause he's shown having a child in the movie(the one whose head was cut) 3) How di Amarendra Baahubali's father, brother of Bijjaladeva die and what's his story(a glimpse of him was shown in a painting when Amarendra Baahubali was born and he too looked the same! 😂)
