Do not seek in outward appearances; if devotion is your aim, find those. They sit quietly, holding an egg-shaped mark within their sleeves. Silence, O heart! It's unseemly to shout in a crowded gathering. Decorum is the foremost manner in the pathways of love. Seek not the master of all in mere external attire or garments. Yes, if you desire His presence or meeting, search for those divine lovers and saints who conceal within their sleeves, in the palm of their hands, an egg-shaped mark.
