This was short, but memorable. I love that at first, she had no idea who Bruce Lee was. And for someone who did not speak English at the time, she mimicked it very well with the few lines she had for the film.

She knew who Bruce Lee was, but she didn't know his english name. When her friends told her his chinese, she knew exactly who he was. That is why the next day she told him I know your father by his chinese name.

I’ve always loved Bai Ling. Most notably her roles in Southland Tales and Crank: High Voltage are my favorite of hers

She does not no English but Brandon Lee knows Chinese very good

Bai Ling speaks Mandarin, Brandon like his dad spoke Cantonese. Brandon used to say in interviews he didn't speak Cantonese much after he moved to the US.So it was very broken.

@@nihongochopsocky808 Well, Brandon spent the majority of his life in the US, so it makes sense he would grow up speaking English and not his home country's native tongue.
