Eternal Love is simply fantastic, both storytelling and production. Mark Chao is hot hot hot! I rate Xi Feng's love in Love and Redemption higher, because he would never betray his love the way Ye Hua did. Everyone be damned, but he'll give everything to protect her. It's the most otherworldly and perfect love I've ever seen in a drama. I'm on episode 22 of Ashes of Love and the drama has everything! So funny, such good acting and writing, stunning set design. I'm loving it!

Wait, what? I thought Ashes of Love had a more open ending, it left me thinking for days. The only thing that kept me alive was that bride-in-carriage scene at the end.

@@Veralidainai They showed their young son at the end. He was telling the story of how his parents met and fell in love. They even showed the Emperor of Heaven and the Demon Princess’s daughter. It was a good ending. They got married had a son and lived away from all the drama in heaven and hell ❤

Ну, после того как он с ней поступил так гадко и подло, она вышла за него повторно замуж. Это как то странно. Выколол глаза, отдал какой то прошмандовке, и ещё говорит:- "Я , буду твоими глазами". А ты терпи. Я бы его послала бы далеко , и на всю жизнь. И вам, и нам со мной не прокатит. Я просто отрезаю всё. Не надо возвращаться туда, где тебе было плохо. Это моё мнение. Не согласным, не хочу ничего доказывать. Я через многое прошла, и уверена в этом.

Right! Isn't the colour red always worn during wedding in Chinese culture as it is believed to ward of evil spirits? It just proves how much Asians love western customs and style to use them causing huge misrepresentation while portraying an ancient and traditional world although I found the attire and the golden lotus symbolism quite beautiful.
