Why are the bowlers always running after the ball?? First they bowl 20-30 overs in a day then they run to stop the ball from going to the fence. It's not fair on them.

There's another video where the same game is shown for Malan's innings. Malan was in form from somedays before this game. But Bairstow was a bit out of form and England team was thinking of demoting his no. in batting order. That is why this innings was more important for Jonny Bairstow. 🙂♾❤

Now his bottom hand is more tight , bat face never stays straight. I have to agree tight botton hand grip does generate a lot of power. But sometimes your are prone to inside edging the ball into the stumps when that bat face closes that early.

Bairstow is a very good player of red ball cricket but the only this that has gone against his form in this particular format is his and England cricket's shifting of focus from red ball to white ball cricket .

Such a shame that the selectors have screwed him around. He has a higher batting average when he plays as a keeper than when he plays as a specialist batsman, yet recently he’s been picked as a batsman and was dropped as a result. He’s a way better batsman and keeper than Jos Buttler, who is useless, but they keep picking Buttler ahead of him

Naman Banyal nope. I’m Aussie. But looking at Bairstow’s stats, he’s got a far better overall record than Buttler. More runs, more hundreds, better average. And those stats double when you look at Bairstow’s stats in games he’s played as a wicketkeeper, rather than a specialist batsman
