When you start catching big fish you’ll appreciate those big trebels

The big ones are mostly on large lakes.. there you can catch giant pike that reach up to 1.30 meters or over 3 ft (i think) .. in urban ditches, like the one i visited in the video, pike reach up to 2 maybe 2,5 ft max... but to catch those, you must be lucky. The bigger pike are mostly passive during wintertime at my place, basically live or deadbait fishing is the most effective.. just hook up a big mackerel as bait, use a bigass float, and wait until big momma shows up.. for smaller pike, this size hooks are too excessive for my taste.

Большие крючки на twichin rap это большой плюс. Щука очень часто сходит с крючка на джеркбейтах -глайдерах.

Nope, i never ever lost a fish because of the leader. I use leaders because of those pike. They can easily bite through your main line... and that sucks, that leader is just for safety..

@@BaitVSBait isn’t that using a wire leader make it less attractive for the fish to hit? I want to use wire leader to jig in environment that has a lot of barracudas but I am just afraid fish won’t hit them?

@@vsonic86 oh no! Fish don't care, they spotted your bait, they have absolutely no interest in your leader. They attack it faster than lightening. Besides, if you want to fish for barracuda, i guess using a leader is a very smart idea. I hope you catch a lot of those toothie torpedo's. 😎😁

@@BaitVSBait I want to catch snappers but the environment I was at, it was thick with barracuda. It was 12 hours of non stop barracuda 😂. I had to keep changing leader (120 lbs varivas) and they still snap the line. I put the wire leader, they still snap the line😭. How is this wireleader working for you? Are they reliable?

@@vsonic86 well, they're good enough for pike, most of the the time, i use titanium leaders.. they are certainly reliable. And those leaders are thin and they're very flexible.. they are a bit more expensive but they're worth it😄
