Nice, I built one back in the early 1980's from a kit I bought from a catalog. Fun car to drive. Mine was a 1968.

Hi, I've a fiberglass 1776cc thats giving me problems with headlight, taillight, blinkers etc. I think their was an attempt to "take it w/out permission" as the wires under the dash were hanging down. I saw ur video(s) for the first time & have given me a clear direction to set my wiring straight. Thanks for ur vids!

I have owned three bajas and they are a blast. The only problem is people always stop you to ask about the car !!

Weather is good here too, been doing the empi disc brake conversion myself. I’ve found a huge steering fault though, everything is loose and moving

Glad you’re enjoying the weather. Disk brakes are a huge game changer on anything especially a VW.

I’m not sure what’s going to happen to the exterior just yet. Probably leave it alone and add something to make it truly unique.
