On one hand is the ruling king - the Bajaj Pulsar N160 and on the other, is a new contender in a reborn avatar - the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V. Any time xtreme , it pull clean after 3500 rpm, light wt easy to ride in city 9kg lighter than pulsar, more reliable than pulsar , suspension softer , riding triangle is super , easy service at any place

long rides, comfortable suspension, petal disks, low maintenance costs, faster 160 cc, faster to brake, cornering confidence, 4valve engine, USD forks, better mileage among 160 segment, better mirrors than Apache/pulsar ----> go for Xtreme160R

We are yet to ride the Hornet 2.0 OBD2 but as a standalone product, the Xtreme 160R is a very impressive motorcycle!

A 2 valve engined bike requires lesser maintenance, gives better initial and mid range ( usable performance) and is slightly smoother and frugal also and hence my vote here is for the N160. The N160 should be equipped with usd forks and a slipper clutch !! My only complain. 😥😥

Both bikes are oiled cooled so it's the same maintenance, also the extreme's acceleration is better then all oiled cooled 160cc 4v so n160 doesn't comes close , xtreme is almost better in every way then pulsar n160 only one advantage pulsar n160 got that is dual channel abs that's it

go for xtreme, it pulls clean up to 100kmph , very smooth , suspension very soft , good handling, hero engine are good in reliable matter and parts easily avl .
