Full nasheed with English & Arabic lyrics.
May Allah accept. A lot of hard work and tears went into this video to combine the two parts of the nasheed and streamlining the audio and video and coming up with the translation. May Allah forgive me for any mistakes in the translation. I tried my absolute best to do justice to the beauty of the words of this heart-touching poem by Abu al-'Atahiya from his Deewan Abi al-'Atahiya (يا خجلي من ربي ). His fame rests on the ascetic poems of his later years, the Zuhdīyāt, collected in 1071 by the Spanish scholar Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr رحمهم الله.

Literally my eyes cried .... My creator has pulled me back from the depths of darkness from the life I had .... There might be doubt in death but there is no doubt in the fact that all praise is for ALLAH azawajal ..... I always used to wonder how sins will be converted into good deeds if you repent .... It's the tears that flow from my eyes that give me the proof that indeed if you repent your lord is the most merciful and the weight of those tears from the fear of Allah and love for Allah is much more than the sins you commited .... May allah keep us firm on our deeds till we die ..... wassalam.

بكت عيني على ذنبي My eyes cried over my sin وما لاقيت من كرب فيا ذلي و ياخجلي And what I received from my anguish O my humiliation, O my sham إذا ما قال لي ربي أما استحييت تعصيني و لا تخشى من العتب If my Lord asks me, Do you have any shyness in disobeying me And are not fearful of disappointment. وتخفي الذنب عن خلقي وتأبى في الهوى قربي And hide the guilt from my creation And refuse to accept passion near you فتب مما جنيت عسى تعود إلى رضا الرب So repent for what you have done, so you may return to the pleasure of your Lord. القرآن - سورۃ نمبر 66 التحريم آیت نمبر 8 أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا تُوۡبُوۡۤا اِلَى اللّٰهِ تَوۡبَةً نَّصُوۡحًا ؕ عَسٰى رَبُّكُمۡ اَنۡ يُّكَفِّرَ عَنۡكُمۡ سَيِّاٰتِكُمۡ وَيُدۡخِلَـكُمۡ جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ يَوۡمَ لَا يُخۡزِى اللّٰهُ النَّبِىَّ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مَعَهٗ‌ ۚ نُوۡرُهُمۡ يَسۡعٰى بَيۡنَ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَبِاَيۡمَانِهِمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ رَبَّنَاۤ اَ تۡمِمۡ لَـنَا نُوۡرَنَا وَاغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا‌ ۚ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ ۞ اے اہل ایمان ! توبہ کرو اللہ کی جناب میں خالص توبہ۔ امید ہے تمہارا رب تم سے تمہاری برائیوں کو دور کردے گا اور تمہیں داخل کرے گا ایسے باغات میں جن کے دامن میں ندیاں بہتی ہوں گی جس دن اللہ اپنے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اور ان کے ساتھ ایمان لانے والوں کو رسوا نہیں کرے گا۔ (اُس دن) ان کا نور دوڑتا ہوگا ان کے سامنے اور ان کے داہنی طرفوہ کہتے ہوں گے : اے ہمارے رب ! ہمارے لیے ہمارے نور کو کامل کر دے اور تو ہمیں بخش دے یقینا تو ہر شے پر قادر ہے۔ O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right; they will say, 'Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent.'

Wonderful Nasheed. The translation is wrong in a few places including Maas Tahyayta. That’s Maa Naafiyah. Negative Maa. Gives the meaning of No/Not. So, it would be…did you not feel any shame…
