In this series of videos we are making some of the most requested items to test out the new features of this fantastic oven!
If you have watched any our other Ninja vids, you know we love our 'toaster oven'. But it is so much more and we just upgraded from the 8-in-1 (SP101) to the new 14-in-1 (SP350) which sports dual heat, a smart thermometer, and a sear crisp tray! And of course an increase in interior height. Join me for an unboxing and a side by side comparison. This model seems to be an exclusive with QVC where we bought it, but they have released the SP351 as well which is virtually the same thing.
Thank you for watching! I hope you found it useful and entertaining and will subscribe and watch future videos. I am creating these for you and appreciate the support. You can do that in a few ways: Like, subscribe, comment and even donating with the 'Super Thanks' link. We appreicate you joining us!
We love this Ninja Foodie Digital Air Fryer Oven! It is really great. If you're interested, you can find it and the other items I mentioned on Amazon. I do have an Amazon Influencer Storefront where I have curated a number of products I love and use, many of which have been featured in my videos. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases at no cost to you!

I'm pretty new to air frying but this fryer makes it fun and easy kzfaq.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! It's small and efficient and so far everything I've cooked has come out great! I really do like the glass door, interior light and that it looks like a small oven. This style just appeals more to me than the "basket" style fryers. The only drawback to me personally is that there's no way to know when preheat has finished, when to add food after preheat, or when to turn food mid-way through cooking. You have to stay close to the unit because the digital panel is the only way you know when to do these things. There's no beeping sound like in a microwave.

Your steak and potato video inspired me to try chicken and potato. I love your channel! I used chicken thighs with skin and half-potatoes and cooked them at the same time at 350 for about 35-40minutes in the sear pan (that thing has the best nonstick coating!!). It worked out surprisingly well. Thank you!!

Hey Len, thank you for sharing 👍🏼 How is the clean up after cooking greasy things, like the steak?
@LenBanks
@LenBanks 2 жыл бұрын
Well! that's the question isn't it? My threshold of cleaning these little ovens is very different than many. I am less concerned about the inside walls being spotless. Frankly because it is tight and difficult to clean it would be hard any way. The pans all clean VERY WELL. the basket never seems to get anything stuck on it. I wish they made the crumb tray with that metal. The crumb tray is the worst, I just can't get it clean to my preference. But I still love the oven any way! :)

Len Banks I typed a detailed reply, to how I cleaned the sear plate and basket…(*and lost it by an errant thumb on my iPad!) …so shorter version, from someone that just purchased my ninja foodi this month. First, I use the parchment liners w/holes. I also use a kitchen “tool” small nylon bristle gadget w/dishwater soap compartment (*used for crusty plates and casserole pans…and fry pans that are non-stick) that I use in a circular motion, after I use a flat wooden spoon, to quickly scrape off the sear plate and basket. Clean- up took less than 5 minutes! Hope this helps!

Good point on Lens part. Ive noticed almost without exception the complaints on this oven isn't about functionality, its about the OCD people not being able to make it look exactly like new on the inside everywhere inclusive the elements. Thats just unrealistic expectations. Personally i hand clean the racks and wipe down what i can, but i have no problem doing a high temp cook off to bake the grease out of the oven. when its flipped up for storage who cares what it looks like inside. Just wipe down the glass after a cook and it all looks good and functions fine.

Thanks for the vid! I'm trying baked potatoes tonight. Have you ever tried the rapid bake setting or dual heat bake setting for baked potatoes. And do you ever keep the sear pan in the oven when airfying or baking?
@LenBanks
@LenBanks Жыл бұрын
Hi! You’re welcome. So the dual bake is for uses when you want the sear plate to be very hot. I don’t think that is what you want for a potato. I do keep the plate in for air frying as it catches drips and prevents them falling on the heating elements. The user’s manual suggests this. I don’t keep it in when baking on the wire rack. I have not used the rapid bake for raw foods or anything actually. ;)
@eatmoreporkporky4342
@eatmoreporkporky4342 Жыл бұрын
@@LenBanks Thanks for the info. I used the rapid bake setting with the wire rack in the bottom and it took about 40 minutes @ 400. It was very good, crispy skin and fluffy inside. I used aluminum foil on the wire rack. I will try the air fry method also.

What is the advantage of the dual heat on this model as opposed to the SP101? Does the bottom of the new model 351 open for cleaning like the sp101?
@LenBanks
@LenBanks Жыл бұрын
Hi. The bottom doesn’t open for cleaning. I believe the dual heat allows the sear plate to be heated to one temp while the top does the oven space. A nice upgrade.
