I got it and it's fantastic for the price. I would take this over a kbd67 lite or nk65 any day

@@SeaTacky I currently have a kbd67 lite with durock’s v2 and some Aqua kings. Currently waiting for my Bakeneko to arrive and put the old Nk Creams in it with the StupidFish plate foam, PE Foam on the pcb and some poly fill. I really have high expectations for this board.

@@luisromero9507 yeah it’s really good, bit hollow but polyfil fixes. Definitely a more clacky sound, but again pe foam will make it sound like any keyboard with pe foam, and maybe just plate foam would make it a little deeper as well.

@@SeaTacky gotta give it a shot to PE foam, I’ve never modded any of my boards with it. And yeah plate foam with poly should make it sound less hollow and deeper

Get the 30a oring gasket you won't regret it lol even somehow adds to the sound which I don't understand I guess since it's softer? Lol also I get pe foam makes every board sound the same but imo not in this one. It's still higher pitch then most and retains a bit of clack it's a great pitch with pe foam. Of course just some poron/silicone/polly is fine imo. Silicone actualy works great if it's thin that is lol. Poron is always good but neoprene is great also in a small amount for sure. People also need to udnerstand every single oring gasket without foam out right now has slight hollowness In the mods it just is what happens. Even the unikorn whats funny is I actually feel the bak has more pop then the unikorn does. They feel identical to. But my e6.5 has a bit of ping/hollow. Unikork does also. Most do with these I think the only one that doesn't is the otd356 mini but rhne again it probably does a little. The utd mini356 people should stop sleeping on that thing sounds so good. Very similiar to the otd356. Now this may sound weird but as Alex is showing his don't gave much hollowness it almost feels like if you get one with great tolerances it has less. Seems like the new batches may be the best yet.

Yea you dont have to do much for neko to shine. I wish it was around when i first got in. Such a fantastic board. amazing sound and feel and really good price. Def hit above its weight for sure. Glad you are enjoying the board. Its a great hobby but got to be careful going to far down the rabbit hole.

I've stopped buying gb caps, it's not worth the wait for me. I'm glad companies are starting to have in-stock offerings.

Try replacing the switches, sounds like you may have a couple defective ones.

@@jamesgarrett7844 ugh.. Now theres more. They keep popping up. my alphas were all fine before, but now half of them are messed.

@@skii_two That’s weird… it’s possible for it to be a PCB issue, or maybe the switches just aren’t sitting correctly. Do you have another board you could test the switches on?
