After only three offensive plays for the Los Angeles Rams last night, Baker Mayfield got put in the game and led the Rams to a 16-3 fourth quarter comeback win despite being home underdogs against the Las Vegas Raiders. Baker’s game-winning drive was 98 yards with no timeouts ending with a 23-yard touchdown pass to Van Jefferson. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react to Baker's comeback win vs. Raiders in Week 14.

I admire Baker's guts and his faith. He asked to be release from the Panthers, knowing there was two teams out there desperate for a quarterback. Niners and Rams. He books a flight to LA even before knowing the contract was complete. Interesting to see his future with the Rams.

Come on Shannon. All the media day before was saying “no way they are going to play him” “he’ll be set up for disaster”. He learned the playbook on the plane and made some great passes in that final quarter and final 98yard drive. Jeff Saturday went off his couch had no nfl or college coaching experience and beat this team at Vegas. Baker had a good game but he still is a bad qb he is the coach killer. He got hue Jackson Gregg Williams Freddie kitchens and now Matt rhule in Carolina. 4 coaches in 5 years and he’s a diva and had that feud with Odell. He had that 8 game stretch 2 years ago and 7 wins as a rookie and this game but other than that he’s a bum average at best. Even average qbs or artists have 15 minutes of fame Shannon is right and skip won’t be able to shut up about this for 10 years and baker will get exposed next game.

I don’t know how to feel about baker. I feel like Cleveland did him wrong with the injury - Carolina he had no chance lol, but he might have something here. Stafford is going to be on his way out in the next season or 2. That elbow injury is serious business. I know it all too well as a Steelers fan.

I'm not a Baker Mayfield fan in the least, but I will give him credit for doing enough with what he had in 60 minutes of football. The first three-and-a-half quarters didn't muster much, but he was able to get more points than the other team in all 4 quarters of work. It doesn't matter how he did it because he was executing with what he had enough to win the game and in the win column, there isn't any bonuses for being legendary or a highlight reel!

Mayfield had an average game until the last drive. The last drive was excellent. One has to compliment Baker’s adjustment and play last night. That said, let’s see how he develops with the games ahead. McVay (McYay as Skip calls him) will give him every chance to succeed so BM will finally show who he is as a QB.
