As it name suggests, Rebecca's Cake Pops on Long Island, NY is dedicated to cake pops, where they make hundreds of designs. The bakery's cutest creation is a bouquet of cake roses. Each "rose bud" is made with chocolate crumbled cake and topped with candy melt petals. Bouquets come in different sizes and flavors!

That’s really expensive for the equivalent of a piece of cake. So, 12 rose pops probably equal to a total of a good sized piece of cake. So, ultimately you’re paying 75 dollars for a piece of cake. Don’t get me wrong, though as the cake pops are all adorable. I’m assuming you basically pay for the novelty.

The price to make no fuse cupcake roses (since that would be an easy and simple way to give a pretty and edible gift to your loved one) the items would be (these are the cheapest options I found): 6 cavity silicone rose mold 2 pack $7.68 Cake mix of your choice (Betty Crocker was the cheapest I saw) $1.28 Candy melts (They come in a couple of colours and you could buy a couple to make a specific colour) $5.29 100 Wooden Skewers (you could hot glue some green ribbon around the parts that won't touch the cupcake to make it look stem like) $3.99 The total for no fuse rose cupcakes would be $18.24 compared to $75 you save $56.76. If you wanted to get either get Edible glitter spray $10.79 (I only saw it come in either gold or silver) Or Edible Luster Dust $5.89 (This had more colour options) The total for buying both with the other items would be $34.92. Since the rose cakepops are $75 you'd save $40.08 if you did it that way. If you just bought the spray to be a bit fancy it would be a total of $29.03 you'd save $45.97 and if you opted for the dust instead you'd save $50.87. So yes you could make these way cheaper and quickly at home and you can get fancy and add some dazzle if you'd like. $75 can be used for alot of stuff, but if you'd like to splurge and buy the cakepops that's fine too. But yeah $75 for tiny cakepops is way to much still. And dude when you have a great portion of your favorite food item right in front of you guilt isn't the first thing that pops into anyones mind. They're to busy devouring to care. 😛😁🎂

Rly underrated comment but it’s true. Also cake pops are pretty much foolproof and don’t necessarily require any special techniques or procedures it’s just BAKE CAKE, MIX WITH WHATEVER TO MAKE THE CAKE A CONSISTENCY YOU CAN MOLD, MOLD INTO ROSE, DIP INTO MELTS. Done.

As a professional cake decorator, I know this is overpriced. Tops like $30 or $35 . For the dozen of roses. And each cakepop between $2.00 and up (design ) If you overpriced a item that is perish and it's your 1st income are bad business.

i love how no one in the comments section understands that the time these people put into their craft is not worthless. people who come to bakeries asking for detailed and time-consuming cakes, then hear the price and say things like "i could make it myself for less!" are some of the most annoying customers. if you can make it yourself for less, please go ahead. make room for the paying customers.

Actually it’s very cheap and easy to make You just need: One box of cake mix Condensed milk Candy melts Barbecue stick (To a basic one) You just add more toppings and voila you have a fancy cake pop
