Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. This is one my all time favorite. I'm an amateur at baking. But when I baked it yesterday, as per your instructions....( I soaked the fruits in rum for 2 weeks) it was super hit not only among my family but also colleagues....they told that it tasted better than what we get In market. I made this that day itself , because I had soaked fruits . This was the best plum cake I ever made . Taste was so yummy and moist . I can’t describe the taste . I was not a plum cake lover .
