Props for starting at the VERY beginning even after watching 3 episodes of modern Baki. This was back when Baki was a little brat trying to prove to everyone how tough he was, later on he’s more calm and relaxed as he gets stronger

This anime has the exact same plot as the manga, they didn't skip anything of note. They turned down the gore and nudity cause it had to air on TV, so some scenes were changed or skipped or made less vicious. You're not missing out on anything plot related tho. The original material (manga) is just as brutal as the stuff on Netflix (there, they didn't turn down the gore)

Man i'm so glad you're doing this. Just found your channel, and I also ended up watching a few episodes of the netflix baki, before diving into the old, and i'm so glad I did. These 48 episodes are very special, and truly builds all the characters and the world so much. Much respect. Can't wait for the journey.
