Kozue was good in the original series from 2001 but later in the manga and in Baki 2018 forward she just became shitty. She used to really like Baki and acted very loyal from what I remember, but then her character just slowly fell to shit and she did morally bad things like hanging with ali jr after directly antagonizing Baki.
