This battle has the most unexpected outcome, Shun barely lost in battle brawlers and he hasn't lost since in new Vestroia, he was the top ranked brawler at one point and even though Dan has took that title, he is still is one of the most strongest brawlers in bakugan, Shadow up until this point had lost all onscreen battles against Baron the weakest member of the resistance and Marucho someone who is strong but weaker than Shun, so we assume Shadow is one of the weakest members of the Vexos so when this battle begins, we all assume Shun will win, even if Ace and Marucho lost their battles to Mylene and Volt, Shun has got to win and soldier on to carry out the mission on his own, nope, Hydranoid, someone who we were told had been turned into a statue was actually being used by Shadow, though this changes everything, its later revealed that Hydranoid is just a disguised for the new mechanical Bakugan Hades, we still think Shun will still win this because he is one of the strongest brawlers ever and Shadow is still a incompetent manchild and that last mechanical bakugan Altair was full of weaknesses but to our surprise, Shadow absolutely brutalises Shun and even when Shun has a little bit of last hope left, that hope is crushed as Hades blasts Ingram away, winning the battle of Shadow and leaving us shocked. Truly of of my favourite episodes.
