Dan’s test was always weird to me. All the other brawlers had to overcome something about themselves, but Dan didn’t.

One thing this battle makes very ambiguous is the nature of Fusion Ability Cards. In the Dan vs. Masquerade brawl in the final battle, Masquerade used Destruction Impact as his fourth ability, and his second Ability during that same battle. This would suggest that Fusion Ability cards don’t count towards and Ability limits to make up for the fact that they need to be played after a certain card. Here, Dan seems to play D-Strike Extreme in the same way, playing it during the same battle he activated D-Strike Attack for the second time. However, DSA seems to be like Boosted Dragon, in that it applies for the rest of the brawl after it’s activated, meaning it probably _wasn’t_ activated twice in this instance. tl;dr: How do Fusion Abilities work?

Okay so Julie was against her sis, Marucho against his old self, Shun against her young and late mother, Runo against young Dan and Dan against all his friends. So this shows that Dan is the most main character because he gets battle all of his friends. I thought he was gonna battle Runo like she did against young Dan.
