Technically it is on the battle standpoint. Farbros only won its battles whenever it had that battle suit. But Dryoid was about on equal par with it even with the disadvantage.

Spinmaster really blew it by not releasing the mechanical Bakugan IRL. The metalic orange on Dryoid just looks SO. DAMN. GOOD.

The Mechanical Bakugan were a really interesting concept that opened up a ton of possibilities. Always liked the entire organic-vs-mechanical idea New Vestroia had going for it. Shame they never came back in the later seasons, especially because Dryoid developed outright intelligence which no other mechanical Bakugan showed.

@@doomdimensiondweller5627 They were too complex. I could see Dryoid being made because his (yes I do think he's actually sentient) ball form is pretty simple. Maybe Aluze too. The others? Not a chance without at least revival Ultra-tier technology. Boriates and Macubass have insane hinges, MAC Spider would actually need to look like like a spider and Farbros would need to be compatible with an Assail suit as it's selling point, to say nothing of the tail fin being a serious case of Alto Brontes disease.

Imagine if in GI Kazarina hypnotized vexos except Rens team, this would be excellent plot twist... Eh...

Actually it is heavily implied that Dryoid gained a level of sentience. As seen where Dryoid was seemingly reacting to Hydron's words of using his strength.

@@theonewhoismany8072 I wish Prof. Clay had given Mira the blueprints for all his work, including backups of all six of the mechanical Bakugan to safeguard. From that you could have Dryoid's consciousness survive the whole ordeal since he's an AI and all, and then Mira would discover that he was actually alive. From there I'd probably have Mira rebuild him (to the post-upgrade specs, with Gaian Reflector and all that good stuff) and you could have an interesting arc about AI consciousness, remorse and past mistakes. And a way to have at least one of the girls brawl regularly. MS was a trite season anyways and given you already have Battle Suits which are explicitly of Vestal make (and with one of them having drones remarkably similar to Macubass' ABSIDS system) it wouldn't be as weird as it was in the show proper.

True. They were used sparingly after that first battle, probably because Hydron thought he didn't need to use anything other that Dryoid's "Murasame Blade"/its trio of Fusion abilities.

The only time he used them again was against Volt, but only because he could no longer use Murasame Blade after a certain point.

@@jackryan8736 The Farbros brawl also shows off some of his non-sword abilities. Gaian Reflector is just straight up broken. That one ability alone makes Dryoid insanely strong, and the Murasame Blade combos are all remarkably versatile and they also take away a lot of G-points. 500, 600 aren't small numbers in Bakugan, hell I think only Helios also has an ability that literally adds 600 G. I'd say that Dryoid overall is in the top 10 strongest Bakugan of all time, and is outright the most powerful Subterra Bakugan ever. The Murasame combos can slash a ton of G power in no time, they also add a ton of power (with Double Caliber outright adding 600 G which no other Bakugan besides Helios has), and also has a really busted shield ability in the form of Gaian Reflector. The only real flaw is Dryoid's starting G level of 700, which is a bit low for a Bakugan as powerful as he is. Even still he'd probably be viable even in Gundalian Invaders and maybe even Mechtanium Surge.

True. Gaian Reflector would probably outright kill most Bakugan except Dharak. Hell, the only reason Farbros even survived that was because it was in Assail Mode (which means it didn't lose enough G which it would if it was in base form) and had Shiny Orichalcum on standby.

Not me! Sirenoid's relationship with Klaus was always funny and really sweet, never could hate her. Dryoid was also more cool than scary. The metallic orange and brown are a surprisingly great color scheme, and I think he has the best ball form out of all Bakugan.

Those are two brand namess that made up a chunk of my childhood. I never thought I would see them in the same sentence and I'm forever grateful, Thank you!

@@stupidabc4331 if they could make the 3d model for the anime I don't see how it couldn't be manufactured or 3D printed. They were probably just fixated on preparing for the gundalien invader toyline
