It's not that unreasonable for Edgeshot to have some sanitizer on him; he uses his body to cut into things so being able to quickly clean off would be important to him even if he wasn't a medic.

Feels like after this chapter, Mirko can cosplay as a mail box... Her determination of fighting with only 1 leg and a dream sure is something. Girl's gonna either have 3 out of 4 of her limbs be prosthetic or she needs to pay Eri a visit or something, Idunno. But this chapter showed what a badass she is and she deserves ALL the respect!

Shigarakis selfishness is taking over. Him being mentally unstable was not anything new but I guess it makes sense. Baku should be dead and no one should save a dead person, he was not dead and yet no one saved him. But the problem is clear to all but him. Shigaraki died the moment he gave in to his hate, Baku fought for future and change it. To be changed, that is what Shigaraki cannot see. The flesh taking shape of his family though, are thoose suppose to be puppets or will they have his memories of his family. Either way Shigaraki is unbalanced more

Man Now I still see Miruko was in the top Heroes list because I love her determination as a Hero despite losing all of her limbs and wanting to go out like a Badass to stop tomura once for all damaging him making him stop being cocky and overconfident killing everyone while some heroes in the previous war gave up and retired to citizens. More importantly I think star and stripes Quirk even after her death is still effecting Tomura too so I really hope Kacchan comes back from his injuries since Izuku is still flying overseas to return to UA against AFO.

I feel kinda bad for Shigaraki when he was thinking about why no one helped him when he needed help while watching Bakugou receiving help. I'd give him a large Snickers bar

I am enjoying that the battle isn't simply *stall until Gok- Deku arrives*. These are the top heros Japan has to offer and no way they would simply loose.

I really thought edgeshot was underrated and his quirk seemed cool, and these chapters are just reinforcing that idea. I hope he doesn't die but im certain he will with how underrated he is, and how the writers are willing to sack off underrated characters.

Miruko just out there doing all the Work, Nobody sacrificing the same as her... People dying and being brought back to life and shes out there with no Arms. This is what I wanted to see from Uraraka

The only thing that upsets me about this fight is how the heroes are struggling so much against Tomura who has had all of his quirks erased. If he could use all of his powers, the heroes wouldn't even last a second.

I can see why Shigaraki would be unsettled by this. Bakugo is on death's brink and so many are trying so hard to pull him back from the brink. To him, Bakugo shouldn't be worth saving, let alone risky their lives for a spark of a chance. Meanwhile he goes his childhood with everyone avoiding him. This is the hypocrisy of heroics and world of quirks that gets him steamed. Who is worth helping and saving? What makes them worth it?

I only read this chapter about an hours ago…and yet this chapter gives us Shigaraki is not completely consumed by his pure rage

With all they're doing to bring him back, bakugo needs to make it now. especially if we're losing two of our top 10 pros to this.

Whenever I analyze a chapter, I go out of my way to look at everything in a positive light. My hope is that people notice details they like that they didn’t notice that they enjoy when I point them out. And I recognize everything happens for a reason. Which is where any theories should be pointed. And judging by what has or hasn’t happened, I can pretty much gauge how much remains. And in this finale there is a LOT. So let’s get into it. Bakugo’s surgery courtesy of Edgeshot, does not bother me. There will be payoff and I even speculated a number of possibilities last week I figured it could be. Jeanist has been desperately stitching Bakugo already. And Edgeshot from his ability set can absolutely save him. Where was he? He was likely trying to do the same thing he did to the League of Villains in Season 3. That’s why he’s bloody, because he couldn’t touch AFO back then either. Look at what AFS is currently doing. Playing around with insides of a body like that has to practically be impossible. And getting mad that a random hero with an applicable skill set trying to save a child with no motive to do so? I say that’s nonsense. That’s LITERALLY what they aim to do. Their shows on the streets fighting villains are absolutely for the benefit of children. And on every field of these battles there should be medic types nearby to prevent this. That all checks. But they wouldn’t do this for no reason. And in such a fight, such a method should be temporary. Theres not MANY things Bakugo needs to stick around for in this story now, but it’s enough to find reason to keep him going. Like the 2nd quirk of OFA. Bakugo is no longer dynamite, he’s a time bomb. (Plus it’s like they learned their lesson when Bakugo last got serious injuries with AFS in the 1st war. Which is when we ALSO thought he was going to die.) And you can’t tell me Edgeshot performing surgery in such a way that literally makes him drown in Bakugo’s blood to fix him doesn’t have its own consequences. To put it simply, we can’t just quit on a decision Horikoshi makes before things play out. The setup of the war itself was rushed. I won’t deny that. It ended the Rogue arc too suddenly and I’m hoping MHA anime extends them when they get there. But the surgery causes a much more clear divide in AFO and Shigaraki. That is the most raw Shigaraki energy we’ve had since he woke up as AFS. He lashes out, he’s itching to destroy, he loses his cool, just like when he broke down with All-Might arresting him in season 3. (Which lasted the 30 seconds that it took AFO to destroy the forces at the Nomu Factory that day) Which I believe is the true cause of his head spinning. AFO has reason to know the 2nd holder has much in common with Bakugo and that would tick him off. But Shigaraki? No such reason. Which I believe is where you’ll find the ACTUAL weakness of AFS. AFO, Shigaraki, and Tenko all share headspace sure, but if there’s a divide in thought process, that’s where he can’t perform. And I love that. And I love even more this is paying off to Mirko popping off. Because THIS was set up. She’s continuing her rampage on Dr. Garaki here vs AFS. And THIS time she’s going all out. And we’re being shown the state of everyone on this field. There’s not a single one of them that isn’t running out of steam. (Which is their arrogance of thinking they could go without OFA. He just stalled them to the brink.) So Mirko doing this tells me this is her last ditch efforts. She will die at her time. Her going all out…going without 3 limbs? I can only assume it’s time for her to die with regrets, or without em. Either one works. Because she’s been screaming about this her whole arc. (And I think Lemillion is just trying to cover his eyes at this point so he doesn’t see Mirko’s attacks coming. Which is the funniest game of peekaboo EVER. Or a if I can’t see you, you can’t see me situation. Which is hilariously applicable to Mirio.) Also if you guys REALLY want to look for setup in this story, look in the rogue arc, and look in the 1st war. THAT is where all the setup is. Don’t give up on MHA til it’s over. I know I won’t.

Personally. I love it. Edgeshot is a ninja. Of course he would carry disinfectant. No one said Bakugo was gonna have an easy life after this surgery. It gives him a similar quirk dynamic to Dekus One For All Vestiges. Now Bakugo has another spirit internally to turn to. Its awesome.

I'm still loving tf outta this arc!! Ever moment is so suspenseful, I'm at the edge of my seat! I just hope my Bunny girl makes it out alive tho, she's putting so much into this fight💯 if she dies I might actually cry!

What if Tamaki's laser messed up Shigaraki in a Netero vs Meruem fashion, so now the immortal body of Shigaraki is accumulating damage from heavy attacks like Bakugo's? I mean Suneater got robbed pretty badly, it would be a badass twist.

So his quirk lets him act like a heart... Umm what? He's still alive and doing this. He can't do it forever. He requires sleep. Requires rest. Can't keep his quirk up forever. It would make more sense if it was a case of he can act like a temp heart until they can get a donor one or a robotic one put in him. Or even rebuild his. But we supposed to believe this guy can just activate his quirk and keep it active forever and he kinda just dies but his body is now acting like a heart? wtf

My problem with my hero academia is not the powers that can do a lot of things, but it makes me like the villains more than the heroes. They have more character development than the actual heroes

I wanted Bakugo to come back SOOOO badly!!! And never believed that he was going to die…. But when I heard what happened, I was like “this sounds like fan fiction”

I feel like this is a seed for a call back later on with wash. Him giving a seemingly indestructible bubble is probably an ultimate move of his that we didn't know about until now......just like edgeshot. We forget that the top heroes are top heroes for a reason

You know how some animals, when caught in a trap, will gnaw off their own leg to get away? That's what Mirko's reminding me of, an animal that would disregard damage to its own body in order to achieve its goal. Truly insane, but also exactly what is needed at this moment. I am wondering why Tamaki's attack didn't have any effect on Shigaraki, but Mirko's attack is. Did Tamaki's attack somehow miss the vulnerable spot that Bakugo made on Shigi's head, while Mirko is instinctively targeting it? The interesting thing about CPR is that it deals with both the heart and the lungs. Gotta pump air into the lungs to oxygenate the blood, then pump the heart to move the oxygen. It's really cool if Edgeshot does both simultaneously. And he got there in less than a minute after Bakugo was killed (a person is considered dead if their heart stops, even if the brain isn't dead yet), so it's possible that he can save Bakugo's brain from damage, too. I see the bubble from Wash as a reminder that the Japanese are far more conscientious about cleanliness than most other people. Of course the readers would need this. It's fascinating to see how seeing the heroes trying so hard to save Bakugo would trigger Tenko. The unfairness of life (because life is unfair, not just this system or that system) was too much for the poor kid. It'll be interesting to see what would happen if Tenko realizes that Deku saw him and wants to save him.

Don't tell me Shigaraki's defeat is gonna be the old "Maybe the real lesson was the friends we made along the way" crap. I'm gonna gag if that's the case.

Lol the bubble is like the biggest stretch. The fact that he was given a random bubble that is now just being mentioned 😂 but I guess it's nice sanitization is mentioned by Hori before a surgery. But... logic went out the window a while ago so it wasn't necessary in my opinion. The bubble is more of a stretch than if bakugo avoids an infection from a dirty edgeshot entering his body.

Mirko needs to be getting war commendations, medals of valor, and a new cyborg body for all the work she's putting into this fight.

For anyone wondering how Edgeshot is going to keep his quirk up forever to keep Bakugou alive. The answer is, he doesn't. Hearts can function on their own if the body is working properly. Edgeshot will keep his heart pumping after using this quirk to mend his body. Once his heart starts beating again, Edgeshot doesn't need to manually pump it, it will do its job like every other heart does. That's how every human body works. Like you don't wake up everyday and manually tell your heart to beat every second. This will be enough to keep Bakugou alive until he can get the proper treatment his body needs. And no, it's not 100% guaranteed that he'd have brain damage. There are countless cases of people who have heart failure, where their hearts stopped for minutes who did not suffer from brain damage. So he might or might not have it. As for Edgeshot's fate, he'd most likely die in that form and merge with Bakugou's heart. Also, Idk why everyone is freaking out about Edgeshot reviving Bakugou as if the dead dude will get back up and starts fighting again, as if he'd magically heal him to his prime again. No, he'd just be keeping him barely alive by acting as his heart until further help arrives, if they do at all. Did you guys expect the two pro heroes to watch one of the youngsters, who the older heroes placed so much responsibility on, die and do nothing? Like watch the kids who you brought to the battlefield against the strongest villain in the verse die because your own generation isn't strong enough to defeat him after promising to his parents he would be safe? 💀 Please. Edgeshot and Best Jeanist are honorable heroes and they wouldn't think twice about sacrificing lives to save another. Literally every pro heroes who's going against All For One is doing that right now, risking their lives to save the innocent. Mirko and Mirio are literally throwing their lives to save Bakugou right now. It isn't just Edgeshot.

Edgeshot saving Bakugo is NOT welcome, honestly. what he's trying to do is actually really dumb and the fact they're throwing all sorts of extra stuff we'd have no way to know about just scream deus ex machina, which is usually the result of a studio/producer not wanting to follow through on what the writer wants. I am 99% Horikoshi wanted Bakugo to die here, but had the idea rejected, and will likely be forced to say it was his writing because of a contract or something.

Yeah, Mirko is one of those people that embodies "I'm just glad they're on our side".

To be honest, we are in a middle of a battle with massive supe powers, psychological warfare and desperation at hand, performing surgery in the middle of a battlefield isn't really too far fetched as many soldiers are forced to do so IRL too with anything they can find at times. In terms of a hero sacrificing himself for Bakugou, i can see that, i don't get the complaint that it doesn't make sense either since Quirks in MHA have always have something we never know they could do, in fact, we have seen time and time again quirks going to a limit and then do something drastic and very different to what their quirks did before hand and we are talking about a character that we don't know much about and much less know what their quirk was always capable of, looking at him i wouldn't be surprised if he had tried to do this before but he simply didn't go forward with it, but sense he can stop blood circulation, it was always a possibility looking at it. Another thing is saying his quirk can't stay active for long, but i think many people missunderstood something, he's not just filling in the void or the wounds, he is dying and using his quirk to become a living tread that will be permanently bounded with Bakugou's body, again, given the nature and knowledge we have on the quirk, it's not too far fetched. Another is how catardic and ironic that it's Bakugou the one to truly rile up Shigaraki, Shigaraki died the moment he gave in to his hate, while Bakugou fought for a future and change it while being changed by it, that is what Shigaraki cannot see and what makes him lose it and become more and more unstable, so Bakugou having all these people desperatly trying to save him and bring him back, not only because they need his fire power and precision but also because they believe and care about him compared to Shigaraki who had no one but All For One pretty much makes this a very interesting matchup that i believe Bakugou will be the one to defeat Shigaraki while Deku will have to face the rejuvenated All For One.

I’m okay with Bakugo’s revival. Deaths and revivals in comics/manga is a common thing. The only time I’m not happy with a revival is if comes and isn’t really earned (ie dragonballs, krokao’s resurrection protocols). At least here we have 6 characters going through the battle of their lives all to get this one character (who isn’t even the Mc) back on his feet.

So at this rate by the time Midoriya shows up everything gonna be just about wrapped up since AFO is gonna rewind out of existence soon. And its evident that Tenko is going to resurface? Well that would be pretty anti climatic for the side characters to solve everything

While it does remove after affects if the war for the students, the older generation sacrificing themselves to save the younger generation ties heavily back to the idea of one for all being passed on like hope from generation to generation so I'm good with it.

I believe the second use of one for all is either Bakugo's relative or someone that did something to all for one in the past Something that no other one for all users before all might could do Or maybe he is both Hence why shigiafo said he felt threatened It could be something completely different tho and I'm just not getting it at the moment

Bakugo's quirk is one of a kind

What I'm hoping they do with Bakugo is simply this: Edgeshot does succeed in reviving him at the cost of his life, but it doesn't change the fact that his body is still tenderized from the fighting, even if it is stitched back together. Bakugo will get back into the fight and will play a pivotal role in finally defeating Shigaraki and All For One for good, but nothing aside from Eri's quirk will change the fact that his body has suffered such damage that he may not live for much longer anyway, so he'll either truly die after they win the battle or he'll live just long enough to give his final goodbyes. I feel like this would give more weight to their victory and the idea that no matter how much is given, even one's life, not everyone can be saved. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the more likely outcome is that Bakugo ends up living a long life after his revival as a nod to the idea that he should live so the sacrifices wouldn't be in vain or something like that. We'll see as always.

I think the bubble from wash is perfectly acceptable. He's literally a washer. I don't think there leaves much to the imagination or leaves much room for skepticism about whether he could produce a sanitary item to help in a battlefield.

Personally, I believe Horikoshi is throwing us for a loop here. I know this is a Shonen Manga, and I know stuff like this happens constantly in these things, but I don't believe Bakugo will actually come back, especially with Shigaraki/Tenko now going full beserker mode. My theory is that just before Bakugo can be revived Monoma is either going to get by a random piece of flesh and get knocked back, or he's going to blink and cause Shigaraki/Tenko to launch a wave of Decay. I know it seems unlikely, and I'm probably just reaching here, but whenever the main villain has a berserker moment, in almost all the media I've consumed be it western books, shows, movies or other Manga I've read, the villain always, always gets the last laugh. It's a constant struggle back and forth, and if Horokoshi followed the principal like he has been doing for the last 90 or so Chapters, then he would do something similar to what I just mentioned. Or, perhaps I'm coping too hard, and if that's the case and I get proven wrong in the next few chapters, feel free to call me a clown.

I've just realised due to rewatching the anime but the multiple hands they shigaraki has and is using was previously shown in the anime when all might fights all for one in season 3 am I just slow to realising this? I really like the idea of edgeshot using his quirk like this and I think the clones of shigarakis family coming out is going to be his downfall they might end up being multiple parts of his self conciseness coming out in physical form?

Shigaraki got a panick attack once again it's not new thing for anyone but this time i think it's more painful then ever his not just feeling fear because of bakus sudden attack .. his mind is trying it's best to keep the vision of that little child in his head .. all of that pain and helplessness ... I think seeing all of the heros trying there best to bring bakugo back to life makes that little child inside of him feel even more betrayed..that helpless little tenko is shigarakis worst enemy ..and the only one he has to be worry about for now

So the ass pull of the year happened... Sigh.

If it wasn't for that part about how Shiguraki making the comparison between himself and Bakugou, how one is broken and the other is not and yet Shiguraki sees others helping the one that is broken, I would have still written this part of the series of fake killing just to revive later as one hell of an ass-pull from the writer as a means to drum up more sales before the arc ends. That sets up many possible ideas for the following chapters but also doubles down on them failing spectacularly if they are not done right.
