मैं राजस्थान से हूँ। बीकाजी, हल्दीराम ही चलता था यहाँ पहले.. जिनमें सिर्फ दो फ्लेवर ही मिलते थे। भुजिया और कुछ कुछ। एक दिन दुकान वाले के यहाँ बालाजी का रतलामी पैकेट देखा। हरे रंग का। जहाँ बीकाजी 220 की थी, बालाजी 180 की थी। रतलामी नमकीन का शौक है, तो मैंने हिम्मत कर के ले ली। पता नही कैसी होगी, पर ले ली। उसके बाद मैंने कभी बीकाजी या हल्दीराम पर ध्यान ही नही दिया। बालाजी मस्त नमकीन है। कोई शक नही। सस्ता भी 😍😅

There is one important point for Balaji. They have established very good distribution channels at early stage. PepsiCo might misread the Indian villages market and that gap Balaji learned and filled quickly with their distribution channels. We see Balaji in every remote villages(specially western states). And that is one of the big reason they have faster rotation.

Very informative video. I think another point can be added about identifying opportunities in the market and using them. Like distribution in India was not much so they setup distribution channels very early which led to easy market penetration. You won't face competition if you don't have any in the first place.

Inka transportation bhi ek badhiya example tha. Strting me inka maal gujrat se maharashtra ke Nandurbar me aatat tha aur waha se fir trucks se all maharashtra bheja jata hai. I lives in Jamnagar near Rajkot where Balaji Starts From my Childhood days we r eating Balaji Items We know Balaji before they starts showing Ads When we call Kurkure our meaning is Chataka Pataka of Balaji It's taste was fantastic n Delicious That thing makes Balaji available in every store of Jamnagar or Gujarat or outside I never ate lays or Kurkure Hope outside Gujarat everybody r enjoying Balaji Namkeen Here another player Named Gopal Namkeen is also there Plz make video on it aslo sir. To be honest, I have no idea about this brand. It's not available at all in Bangalore. So strange. There's a huge penetration of Haldiram's, itc, PepsiCo and some others like Parle, etc. Thanks for telling this story.
