I feel like 6.7 is no place for laser rangefinder tanks. You're basically immune to anything on larger maps, just sit back at the furthest corner and snipe everybody without any sweat, plus 6s reload... While others will struggle hitting you. This mechanic should be only for top tier tanks, where everybody has it available. Other example Chinese 8.0 wheelie boi, has laser rangefinder, great apfsds, high res thermals (better than most top tier mbts), high mobility, stabilizer... At this rate soon we will have 6.7 thermal tanks with laser rangefinder

Legend has it that 6.7 used to be pretty balanced before the IS6 got introduced. Then everything started getting post-war HEAT-FS shells

I mean, this feature is realistic for some tanks in the game, like the M1A1, M1A2, Leopard 2A4, Leo 2A5, Leo 2A6, and so on, but those are all top tier tanks built in the '80s or later, and not some Swedish thing at 6.7 or some obscure prototype from the late '60s.

I play AB, and I just stopped playing Rank 5. I have an IS-3, look at me and despair... then some light boi made of cardboard with HEAT-FS shoots through me from the other end of the map. It's just not fun.

If they go based off from player performance stats, no way in hell the chieftain mk5 went up to 8.7 because "people did good in it". Gaijin just got their eyes closed when fixing BR of tanks

I love how gaijin overlooked that the tank was prototyped in 1969, essentially 20+ years younger than most other tanks at its battlerating. This is the same as F-4 Phantom II's facing Mig-15's or Sabres with no RWR, Flares, or Missiles and saying its balanced just because it can be killed _sometimes_ Still, love the content, even if you need to take a shower

Remember Dollar, you can rangefind using the commanders binoculars! This will also set the range in the gunsight! You can be ready to fire as soon as you get over the ridge... :)

I haven't played for at least half a year and today decided to update my client to drive around with my germans at 6.7 as it was my favourite tier back when Maus was at top tier. After seeing this video I stoped the update immediately and decided to leave good memories just what they are. Memories! Anyways- Entertaining video just like always

Man I remember when you needed a 7.7 BR M-103 with a like 20 second reload to unlock HEATFS rounds, and it didn’t have a range finder either...

In a severe twist of irony, the Conqueror and M103 both should have longer range rangefinders and commander controls for turret rotation while also being full br ranges lower than the Ikea wagon yet still a full range higher than end of WWII tanks. They wont be giving us T102 shot any time in the foreseeable future, but we will get missile launcher electric pedal bikes at some stupid low BR.

Yes, I find extremely funny how in gaijin eyes if the tank has low armour and high mobility it should be at a lower br than that of an equivalent (in terms of penetration) medium or heavy tank. So idiotic

No point in going anywhere when you spawn now. They can soon start selling top tier premium gun turrets with thermals and range finders that just sit on top of the terrain. You just press spawn and your automatically spawned onto the nearest hill.

I litterly cryed during this video. Looking at all those ww2 and after war heavy tanks die without even aiming for weakspots and guessing the range. Just rapidly fireing extremly accurate on helpless tanks. The only downside of this thing is armour whitch your enemys with heavy tanks dont have too but they dont have mobility, laser rangefinder, HEAT-FS, reload rate and scouting like you. I wish war thunder moves this tank up in BR so it doesnt only versere previously mentioned tanks. Only similar tanks to it are M41, T-92 and BMP-1 but they dont have laserrangefinder and extremly fast reload rate. 😪
