I was struggling with the economy until I started building farms from the start. I imagine any industry will work, but I only tried farms. Supplied me with all the money I needed. Eventually, I moved them when my city got near them.

For the road upgrade position, you can upgrade it to a smaller road (ie alley) then upgrade again with the snapping off and you can wiggle it around. Enjoyed this dive into the new update. Real time watching you figure stuff out is very much like my experience in game yesterday. Except I have been playing CS2 since launch, so the update is like a brand new game (financial consequences and constraints are real now!)

The specialized industry sells products either to your general zoned industry or exports it. If they export it, they eventually pay taxes on the income. It doesn't seem to happen immediately. I'm definitely looking forward to figuring out more of the ways the economy is working, now that it actually works in a way we can manipulate. I have not figure out how to provide services without going bankrupt, yet!

Nice man learned a lot with this video i struggled the whole day yesterday with the economy thought the dedicated industries would cost me money but actually its the way to go

@@wikschile8424 glad I could be of some help! I was going to learn the game and then upload a video on it, but I decided to upload myself figuring it all out. It’s definitely a challenge now, but I’m for it.

there are some major flaws to the services they cost wat to much also the schools are still way to small when it comes to student capacity, also there are flaws with the things such as hursts i made multiple crematoriums and garages for the hursts and don't get them spawning so i am paying for them but they don't go out collecting the dead. its clearly a bug, as when you switch on external services it all get outsourced i have sneaky suspicion its doing it with garbage as well. and another problem is i have a city with a quarter of a million residence it took me 5 hours to see any real difference when it came to rebalancing. i am not having fun with this game anymore

@CesarsHideout I mean, I switch on the unlimited money, but I am constantly look at trying to stay in budget, but that's more a phycolical thing with me. I hate debt, and it looks like I do is a simulations it seems

@@thuggie1 I love the simulation and management aspect of the game, but it feels like keeping a healthy budget involves constant work. I got the 529 Tiles mode so I can disable upkeep costs, makes it a bit easier.

@CesarsHideout I just heard that the number of jobs I in in buildings is dressing over time, and the only way to fix it at the moment is by deleting and responding to the workplace. That could be a massive contributor to budget problems effectively it's act like they city is in resseion all the time
