LoL he never waited for her ! He met her when his after conquered castle and announced state , she was among the loot as a slave of ottoman and was given to osman son orhan ! Later she convert Islam inspired by his mother Seyh Edebali daughter, even there is no proof that orhan even married her , while all of his other four marriages ( one with turk bey daughter whom he had a daughter, and 3 with other byzantine princess, 2 in Osman life ) have proofs .. that's why some historians believe that they were never married but as she was his slave and that slave girl thing started in ottoman just after the announcement of state but of course it grow with time , and there is only one justification of their marriage as one of his other four wives died and then he remarried the last one as Muslim were allowed to have 4 wives at a time and orhan has 5 womenn one holofira who was slave at start and four of his marriages and confirmed other than holofira. Also his wife who was turk and Muslim and the other byzantine princess were more known in Osman era as Osman himself gave them lands .. , there is no love story written by any single historian between nilufer and orhan just that her son Murad ( who was actually not orhan first son ) became sultan after orhan death and nilufer was alive at his reign and became valide hatun ! That's why she became prominent.. seriously you guys only see series have some knowledge rather then relying on only romance

@@thatgorl24 I got it. Marrying an ahle kitaab is prohibited in surah Al baqrah and it's allowed in surah Al maida. As surah Al maida was revealed later and it is the last surah so it's commandment has to be followed. So basically you're right. Thank you so much. May Allah bless you sister!
