I guess I'm one of the few people who doesn't give a crap about quidditch. I want more classes, more things to do in Hogwarts besides loot rooms, a wider range of gear and different ways to earn it, like making and trading potions with other students, relationships with dorm mates, the ability to eat in the Great Hall and sleep in your bed, a moral system with ways to earn and lose moral strength, plus Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, and either Beauxbatons or Durmstrang. So not much really 😂

I hope they can add in the ability to form relationships with students outside of just doing quests for and with them

I hope they don't rush it. We want actual school life experiences, romance, assignments, interaction with NPCs, and can be a real student from year 1-7.

What I want to see is more character interaction. Allow for romances and more in depth friendships like Mass Effect, but still pg13 for the kids. I want more in depth classes and actual homework that has a time limit on when it needs to be done. I would like for there to be a moral compass and consequences when you make the bad decisions. I want there to be actual detentions and opportunities to become prefect. I also think it would be super cool if you could add more creatures that you can raise. I really wanted that dragon in the first game… Story wise, I think it would be cool if your decisions with Sebastian last game affected this game. If you turned him in then the game starts with you visiting him in Azkaban and then he becomes the villain of the game. Or if you didn’t turn him in then the game gives him a redemption arc and he ends up helping save the day.

More classes. More magic lore and Hogwarts history. Morality based endings. Consequences for your actions. Actual working house point system and rewards. Hunger sleep and exhaustion. Friend , Rival, relationship between students.

Everyone’s talking about Sebastian, but honestly I really hope we get more of Ominis. It’s mentioned that his entire family are dark wizards, and are very close with Headmaster Black, and in my mind that makes them perfect candidates to be villains in the next game. They already use dark magic - why not get their hands on ancient magic too? It’d be nice to bond with Ominis more and help him with his issues like we did for Sebastian. Natsai and Poppy are definitely high on my list of characters we need more of. Also, what if in the 3rd game, our character is the one that the other characters need to help - to return the favour? I think time turners would be useful for that - what if MC tries to go back in time to save Professor Fig, and something goes wrong? I also hope we maybe meet young Dumbledore, since Headmaster Black was the headmaster before Dumbledore, so it’s possible that we’ll meet him as a child - and possibly Grindlewald too.

Forget being a student, what’s life like after graduating from hogwarts? I’d love to get a job in the ministry as an auror or something

I hope that the Yule ball is in it, having relationships, and also getting to have a dragon as a mount. I really loved the game. I hope this one comes to Nintendo switch also.

I'm not done with 1 yet. But if 2 will exist and we can give our own expectation, I guess what I want are 1: character can sit (idk, just a simple thing but i like it), 2: is the karma wheel (like in InFamous) where you can either become a hero or a villain depending on your actions/choices. And some spells,places, or quests can only be opened once you reached a certain level of villainy or heroism. For instance in HL1, u can roam the entire castle freely even with curfew. In HL2 they can change that with karma wheel and if you are good enough, u become a prefect so u r free to roam the entire school even at night. Then if u r evil enough, u will be sent to azkaban to complete again another task/quest.

For me: forming relationships/more personal quests with classmates, better character creation/customization options, more actual classes, more stuff to do in the dorms, more stuff to do with magical beasts, more exploring, and actually exploring HP locations like in the older games and movies did.

Tbh i wouldn’t mind a Harry Potter Remake, where they just remake the story of Harry Potter with the game world and game mechanics of Hogwarts Legacy, and have the game be divided in the 7 years, and each year of the story mode to take about 15-20 hours of gameplay, and it is possible if you do a 1:1 representation of the books and put some of the movie only scenes in there.

Id love there to be not only more students in general, but more interactions you can have with them. We also need farrr more classes, it's supposed to be a years worth of classes and there's barely any. I also wish the tasks were more related to the class that assigned it, and doing pass or fail classes (can retake fails) like having to study a recipe for a potion then make the potion, if you mess up you fail and have to do it again until you get it right so you actually memorize the potions to use when off school grounds

I loved this game so incredibly much. I couldnt wait to clock out of my stupid office job and play. I just hated that i chose to play on the switch. Still had a blast in 1080p 😂

Give us quidditch, more locations, more enemy variety, more spells, and please be bit more cleaver regarding the classes! completing assignments and doing a quick time event to learn a spell felt like huge wasted opportunity. The biggest thrill in the game was exploring hogwarts. Imagine being able learn new spells by successfully finding them in the restricted section No micro transactions…

The important thing is that they don’t make the characters robots. Everyone is saying things like morality systems, romance, school life, relationships with other students, etc but the point of all that is just to make the characters human. The characters are all humans. They go to school. They have relationships with each other outside of quests. They have morals and if they say or do something wrong that will become part of their personality and will damage their reputation and affect their future. And for the love of god make the character talk like a normal person. Right now the protagonist is a robot that’s clearly reading lines off a poorly written script

I hope a trilogy is coming.. but they are talking about making a live-service game instead, which I really don't hope they do

I really hope we keep the unforgivable curses. But whats better imagine you being able to shape the outlook on unforgivable curses by using them to protect people from monsters and prove like professor fig said. Magic is just like any power it depends on the one who weilds it.

a friendship system for taming beasts with unlockable traits so you can say take your niffler with you and if friendship is high enough they could riffle through drawers and come back with gold or collectibles

I would like to see knockturn alley, the whomping willow, more of Azkaban, background on our character either given to us or chosen(who our parents are, where we live, why did we start as a 5th year, ability to go home on holiday etc.), to be able to name beasts and return them to the wild, find it and it still have the name I give them, Tri wizzard tournaments, more encounters with death and dementors, the option to find and use the deathly hallows again. I would also like more gear room lol. I'd love to meet Nicolas Flamel, Dumbledore, and the parents or grandparents of Harry Potter characters as well. Id also like to be given first player veiw and better lock on and camera options especially while fighting.

Unlike the first game, any choices that are made should affect gameplay. Ex. In the first game, Whether you choose to say yes or no to flying with Everett, you still do it and lose points. A better idea that should have been incorporated is if you choose to fly with Everett, points are taken. If not, you gain points. We should fight against Dementors. Have Boggarts and learn the Riddikulus spell.

I rly can't wait 5 years xD. I hope that we can get some more classes and stuff, all throughout Hogwarts Legacy we were being reminded of our OWLs but in the end they were just a cutscene...

I want more duels with dark wizards. They need to add a sort of Assassin creed type of feature with contracts you can accept to take out on dark wizards, and hunt them. I want a more in depth dueling system too, like the quest where you had to duel the witch, i want more of those. Similar to the dueling style of Ghost of Tsushima when you had to fight the ronin's. Those enclosed type of duels, and make them more difficult, with a timing system. Being able to make relationships would be cool too like on the Witcher.

Maybe they should add places in Diagon Alley where you can spend your Galleons and buy things you want. In addition, how about expanding the possibility of becoming an Aura?

I really feel it should be more things to do story wise. I also feel you should be able to fight on your broom and have more broom sequences whether you’re being chased or racing or a broom with your other classmates, when doing certain quest better interaction with the other classmates, I’m not talking romance. That’s boring but more personal interactions I guess also have the ability to turn down interactions with the other characters if they annoy the hell out of you, and some type of multiplayer to where, at least you can do quest with other people or friends, and make the quest a lot harder.

I want like a sandbox setting where you can go around and do what you want rather than it to be based on the quests as much.

They should have a multiplayer mode where if players were to use any dark magic, then other players can invade their game as Aurors and try to arrest them.

Hope we get a companion system, something like the MMass-Effect-Games had. Classmates whom you can pick from to accompany you on your journey, offer unique dialogue, with which you can build up friendships.

This game needs a compelling story with very high stakes. One thing the first game lacked was a real sense of danger. More extensive character creation and clothing/gear customization wouldn’t hurt either.

I would love them to add every single spell we have ever seen and make some of them very hard to get/learn like just sneak in the library and find a spefic ancient book where you can learn ancient magic or very advanced spells like dumbledore level shit. And then sectumsempra/ ability to make your own spells

Should add bigger maps, cities to go. More dark spells, wands with attributes (legendary or mythic idk something like that that that is so rare and hard to find but with great attack power), then being able to attack or cast spells on anyone and everything, being able to jump and cast spells at the same time, being able to recruit bandits or powerful wizards like voldemort, being able to heist banks 😅, being able to find rare dragon eggs and hatch them and use them to fight alongside or ride them, being able transform in any type of animals or into snakes or to summon power snakes like the one in the movie, being able to get wanted if you kill people like in rdr2, able to build your own camp with your own people that you recruit etc there's lots of improvement for the next game

A new playstation system! Just looked it up, the release date is late 2026. I hope it'll allow us to play the games of all of our past systems.

my hopes for HW2: 1: chamber of secrets 2: azkaban 3: more spells (just go nuts with the creativity) (heck, lemme hit em with the bat bogey hex) 4: humorous skins for brooms (vacuum cleaner, giant pot, unicycle/bike/trike, reverse broom (sitting backwards on the broom), riding side saddle, etc) 5: maybe some more famous characters 6: more puzzle variety 7: Puzzles that make you think hard (we're wizards, brains is important)

The best way to play a series like Hogwarts would be full dive vr with a base starting point and then no help or main forced story line so that every play through for every player is completly different

My questions: 1.Does it have a good main story line? 2. Which time line is it going to be? 3. Will quidditch be added? 4. Will it be a upgrade or a single version or are they gonna release a bundel hl1 and 2 or are they gonna make it like call of duty where you can choose in the interface which Hogwarts legacy you gonna play? 5. Are there more area's to explore.

I just recently had an idea that maybe they could add that our player has some "visions" from time to time, (like the ones Harry had), which could be clues about the storyline, futuristic enemies etc. Really, anything, bc that idea seemed so interesting to me.

Imagine that they keep making these games, extending the timeline from Harry Potter to the present world. There’s so much potential for Portley to explore if done correctly.

I think we need things such as Quidditch, study the rest of the years, certain levels of friendship or romance, experience more classes, and even experience the Yule Ball. It would be cool. Also, Sebastian’s story was much interesting, I would love to see him and his story again.

They need to add more stuff to first one with new stuff to hogwarts and surrounding areas, giving new stuff and more variety to the world plus new areas before the new one. It would help going into the second game

It would be a very interesting story arch to have in one of the games, to have the triwizard tournament, I think it would help make a more expansive story away from the over arching plot of the game or even weaving in the central story arch to the tournament and having our character have to figure out the trials on spot and getting first in the tournament. Could be a cool concept for the second or third game that and the goblet of fire is already in the game

The Morality system isn't viable since some of the Merlin trials you have to use the blasting curse to light the braziers which are spread out and too far away from each other to use incendio and the blasting curse (Confingo) would cause you to lose morality but adding in other classes and even the ability to learn an animagus form would be nice as well as a better character creator kinda like the character creator from FFXIV

I would appreciate more like jrpg elements like building relationships with students and going to school events with people also. Animagus would be awesome but it would be cool if it was something you can choose from a selection of animals all having different pros and cons.

I love HP, but hp legacy is hugely disappointing. Lots of mindless and repetitive quests and trials. Boring and tedious. Very frustration most of the time when you have to find things all over the shop. BUSY WORK.

Player customization needs a lot of improvement. Shape faces, for example. All the face sizes are too large for me. The current options are generic, and small details would be appreciated. Oh, and the ability to change your look throughout the game.

I hope it gets released for all platforms at the same time. I have a switch and had to wait for months after the original release date.

I want to be able to play as if I've gone back to hogwarts to learn my future job. In my case, an aura like mad eye. Have each different job come with its own set of spells learned as you progress. Get rid of the lock picking mechanic. Seriously, it's a spell, not lock Pic tools. And get rid of the damn flu powder travel. I want to aperate in and out of locations I chose and actually show the visual of it not just cut to a loading screen. And have a better wardrobe selection. Take the first 4 to 8 hrs of the game surrounding your chosen job and some quest, then you link up with a mentor to show you the ropes. The overall game would be the same for all players except for job specific side quests and duties. So on and so on. If done right, the next installment will be even more epic than the first. And a bounty system would be nice to hunt down wizards or witches. The room of requirement was awesome, but we need another location to operate out of. I mean, we can't keep going back to school and being that person. Lol. I'm eager to see how it all plays out, but if it's not done right, I will not be buying it. And say no to Quittage. They just need to make a separate game for those who want to play the game.

I hope more beasts (perhaps the ones in fantastic beasts) are added, more spells, more time with your companion. I don’t think it should be a multiplayer experience though.

Quidditch will no doubt be in it, and hopefully a morality system (affecting truly whether you be good/evil and house points). A proper day/night cycle reflected in NPCs would be huge. And proper companions like FO4 you can do a questline for or build a good bond with.

It would be really awesome if they make it in a VR set as well to get a first person point of view of learning the spells as well as when we are making potions with the feedback as well to show our current strength

I want to use more Transfiguration spells, like using it outside of the come and go room. Like bringing statues to life and fight with us, or turning into an animagi.

I just want more customization options for my character, hair, face, details!! Tattoos! Vibrant colors on eyes and hair. Morality system, different endings based on choices, more quests to bond with everyone plus better rewards in clothing and hairstyles that can be earned.

Would love more customisation we have very limited selection. Being able to do actual lessons. Would love it if it would start you off as a first year then progress until 7th year and your character ages ect.

I just hope that this time, I would not have to go to hundred caves looking the same and in caves in general, but be able to explore more in Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. I just hated just randomly travelling to the end of the world and would have preferred to be more of a student, rather than a person, who gores out at night even though its prohibited, and not getting punished for it. For the professions to be more personalized and be able to converse with them even if you have finished the quest line with them and do not need them anymore, which could include doing some tests to revise the material. Hopefully they expand the castle itself and the items you can interact with and the secrets in it as well. Hopefully they do the same with Hogsmeade and we can finally enter every house and be able to talk to people, ask them questions and get to know them. This will add depth tot he game and will make it more personalized. In terms of the habitats that we have in our room, I hope they will increase the limit of animals you can have and the limit of types of animals you can have (would love if it could be unlimited as it would look more lively), and that they would add more different animations to the types of animals, where they could play and also play with the other types of animals. These are just part of it, but hopefully they will listen to the fans that the game is too related to the open world, instead of Hogwarts (which is the literal name of the game duh).

I just hope I don’t have to wait nearly an extra year to have it available on the Switch… it was painful having to wait so long.

1. Quidditch 2. Dynamic relationships for friends/love interests a. Because a friend group that you collect and maintain with almost any NPCs who have varying characteristics and magical attributes would be cool. Would also be sick if you could move around and they all basically go where you go to give the real feel of a weighted friend group that does things together and experiences the school year together b. Love interests would be cool, because maybe they could add in jealousy, heart break, drifting apart, etc., which has an effect on group morale or even your characters own physical attributes. Like if things are going well, you get a buff. If not, maybe certain spells aren’t as powerful. Maybe you could dump a chick right before a quidditch match and you play your heart out. Idk. I love the game, but more depth in all forms of relationships would really sell the “this is school” aspect at the end of the day.

Locations: Diagon Alley, Chamber of Secrets, proper visit of Azkaban, proper visit if Gringots, the Ministry of Magic, Quidditch World Cup. Features for Quality of life/immersion: House Cup points system, night time curfew involving stealth, Detention, Quidditch, Wizards Chess, Exploding Snap, Gobstones, Broom racing/combat, Dragon Sanctuary, improved weather elements. Story beats: Follow-up on Sebastian and Ominus. Perhaps a redemption arc for Sebastian. An antagonist that has your ability of ancient magic. A new professor that makes Snape look like a kind hearted man. A Tri-Wizard tournament.

If I had to make a request it would be for the ravenclaw dorm which I’m in. I believe that it would be amazing if they actually made us answer riddles to get in just for the full effect.

I’d personally love to see more magical beasts, like thunderbirds, griffins, kelpies or winged horse variants. The actual feel of doing a full school year, instead of one class for each subject. More variety in houses, instead of a one quest difference would make the replayability much greater (i’m on my second playthrough now, it gets repetitive). More relationships with classmates, maybe even romance which can lead to the Yule ball. A larger world to explore (ex. using Floo Powder to go to different settings far greater than the highlands, allowing us to capture more magical beasts). The Triwizars Tournament would allow us to possibly not be OP with our ancient magic, using personal skill and knowledge of the universe to beat our opponents. The Room of Requirement updated, and easier to decorate. You can decorate the room but the boxes around them make it almost as annoying as the sims without bb.moveobjects on… and we don’t have that cheat in the game. DRAGONS! Personally i’m a huge fan of dragons, and was kind of disappointed with a lack of them in the game. Sure we see them in horntail hall and return an egg to a Hebridean Black but other than that… we don’t interact with any of them. Quidditch can be a hit or miss, I didn’t miss it much in the first game, and seeing that Quidditch Champions is its own separate game, i think we’ll have to do without. MORE BACKSTORY AND QUESTS WITH OMINIS!! I think Gaunt is THE MOST interesting and well written character in the game. His connection to the Dark Arts and his family’s pure blood supremacy can be SUCH a nice idea for a whole Ominis side quest line like we had for Sebastian in the first game. They can really expand on him, give our sweet boy the time he deserves.

Hope this time will make npcs and characters more alive and interactivr with a honor system.

If we are going to have two more game i like to be able to transfer my data to the new game to continue from where I left off

I really really hope we get a class structure that works with the plot, not the: oh… you can just go wherever whenever attitude, cuz it would’ve been good and it would’ve felt more engaging with the game, you would feel like youre apart of the story like how they did in Persona 5; Listening in class was really helpful in the exams. In this game it made me feel like: be at this level and learn this spell for this area, but instead: With each progression through the game, you have the chance to choose your elective subjects: divination, magical creatures etc to help you as the plot continues. Like how Hermione knew about the devil snare in book 1, Harry knew of it too when Hermione said its name due to Snape’s Class. It’s just little stuff that makes the game more worthwhile in the end. As for when we choose our books: Diagon Alley, when we’re getting our books. And maybe convincing Deputy Headmistresses Weasley to get us a Time Turner to do ALL classes~

I'd like to see greater differentiation between houses. It would add replayability imo, esp in a single person game.
