little hack here, buy a cheap mist free mirror with a rubber suction attachment, it makes it more comfortable because you're not afraid that you will spread water around the bathroom floor and clean up is a breeze, have a small scrubber colth handy and when you're done use the soap from you're shower to scrub the shower floor clean with you're feet and the scrubber cloth (kinda weird I know)

You’re the man. I’ve been watching your videos for a few years now. You gave me the courage to shave my head for the first time and it was an incredible feeling. I did it for a while maybe a year and then stopped doing it for a couple of years because of laziness. I’m ready to get the wet shave going again. I have a Brain Series 9 I can easily use for a great shave but excited to get the wet shave going again soon. Might even go do it now. Thanks for the awesome videos man! Love them!

If you are a black man if youre wanting to shave against the grain in the back, shave against the grain at an angle or go across sideways. You won't get much irritation. If you go straight from bottom to top it will cause extreme intense irritation. Also, always be careful of your neck area. We just can't shave against the grain like most men of different races, our hair is just more rough.

Don't know if you've ever tried it but the Henson AL13 razor is amazing for headshaving! The shape of the head basically makes it impossible to not find/lose the proper angle for cutting, the minimal blade reveal makes cutting yourself pretty difficult unless you're doing something you shouldn't and the quality of the blade clamping is such that it'll plough through pretty much anything you out in front of it. A lot find the mild version too mild, I have the medium and it still feels very mild anyway.

@@moose5996 It's great mate. You don't have to apply nearly as much pressure as a normal Fusion razor. Also the blades are much sharper and give a better shave. I use King Gillette blades, I find them to work best for me. The Leaf is nicely weighted and will last you a life time. Plus depending on what blades you buy, you will save a fortune. Just be careful when you first use it as it is a much closer shave than other razors out there.

I'd recommend giving it a go. And take it as a sign that God or whatever is out there is labeling you as a man. That's all it means! 💪 Best wishes to you 💯

Post shave lotion is basically just a cooling moisturiser, massage it in well and it'll be fine, I usually shave 2 or 3 hours before bed and have no issues.

Any tips for those of us who havs lines/ridges in scalp? I use electric at mo but would prefer wet shave with blades

Are you able to use the other hand to straighten things out enough to shave with a blade? Probably a single blade like this will suit you best for sure. A multi blade would have too ouch surface area and would be more difficult to enter the ridge

Ridges are deep (cvg) so those will still need electric to get in those safety, but thanks for advice re single blade. I've tried multi blades before and it's been cut central, so I will try a single blade

I used to shave against the grain, but my head gets pimples to fast. This is with a nice shaving cream as well. I now shave with the grain, no problems at all.

It’s great when you find your groove. I don’t go against on the sides these days. 1 cut ruins it all.
