I am a single mother of a 19 year old son who has a lot of hair loss the past couple years and I have been watching your videos recently and sending him some of them.. I am not sure he is ready to buzz his head yet.. but we have tried a lot of things for him to feel more confident, biotin pills, saw palmetto, thickening shampoo, etc. he looks great in his hat.. I even just ordered him 'keeps'.. I told him, we can try the keeps.. but.. if and when he is ever ready to shave it off just to let me know. I support any decision he has. I love watching your videos to help understand what he is going through and being able to support him and help him do whatever possible to help him feel confident. He is so young to be going through this right now, but I want to tell you how much I personally appreciate your videos and hopefully my son will watch more and appreciate them as well. Stay strong and confident fellas!

I have had alopecia from the age of 16. It's hard, especially because you go to school and keep confronting with your classmates who have never had this kind of problem. Shaving your head Is psychologically hard. Once you finish school you can really be an handsome masculine guy who really suit his shaved had, but it requires some time before doing the big step. If he's not ready yet, I would suggest finasteride (saw palmetto doesn't work enough), or PRP (expensive but good) or hair transplant. If this is too strong, I suggest you to give him biotin in association with zinc (the two combined work better). The thing that work the most (that gives you the closest results to finasteride or hair transplant) is Minoxidyl 5% (it's a lotion you put on your sclap twice a day). It would really change his life. To make it working better you should associate it with dermaroller. Once he'll be ready, he will shave, but until then you can help him with these products. (If his hair is thin it should help a short haircut)

If he wants to save his hair, get him on Finasteride, Minoxidil and Nizoral. If this fails there is Dutasteride and RU58841.

I’m going to shave my head soon. My hair loss isn’t to noticeable to others unless I point it out to them, but it gets me down every single day as soon as I wake up in the morning. I want my girlfriend to find me attractive without hair, so whoever reads this comment please pray for me.

Praying does nothing. Just shave it and feel good about yourself. Women are attracted to men who are confident. I doubt she cares if you have hair or not. And if she does, there's nothing you can do about it.

Nah she prefers him with hair, just being real man, if you knew how to read people you would pick up on signals like when she said maybe you should wait another day and see if you change your mind, there is a difference between truly liking it and being supportive, she loves him so she will support him but best believe she lost some attraction, if he puts on 20 pounds of muscle though it would suit him

This is the best decision this young man has made. It took me 25 years to shave my head and free me from a hair piece. Even more importantly perhaps you never scarred your scalp wit a hair transplant. Kudos to both you and your partner. 🙏

It works really well on him, he got the looks, height, low body fat and has good clean skin so shaving his head does little to offset his other physically good attributes and his gentle personality makes him very charismatic.

I’m turning 23 in June and have been balding on the top of my head since I was 20.. I just started using the skullshaver and I am now way happier with this look. This channel is amazing I love how positive it is. I might try the razor soon once I get some more sun on my head lol 👍🏽

For me a razor is the better option due to it minimising any contrasting between the hair on the sides and the top. It depends on the individual, but I prefer having a blend.

Never had issues with my hair before I shaved my head going through emt school because my plan was to go into the fire academy afterwards. Hair started growing back but thinner up front. Tried growing it out for about 8 months, wore hats, beanies, headbands to cover my hairline, everything and all I could think about was how bad my hair looked. Finally shaved it after bottling up those feelings at 20 years old and the sense of peace it brought was indescribable. Just another bald guy with a beard now :)

i was self conscious and paranoid about my balding hair for years , honestly it was a big struggle for me personally, it changed who i was . it was uncomfortable for years. i shaved it all of about 1 month ago now and since i done it i have loved it i am back having confidence again , everyone around me friends family ect. can see it too . there will be a couple people who make negative comments about it , but who the fuck are they to me ? no one important. my advice to anyone thinking about shaving it off , JUST DO IT !! i swear you will feel 10x the person you are right now . and honestly alot of girls like the shaved head look if you rock it with confidence !!! 99% of people ive seen have said it looks way better then the thinning comb over !!!! shave it off lads be yourself and you will be fine

That’s great to hear. But I’ve been rocking it for 4 years now and even though I look good with it, I don’t like it, it’s not ‘me’. So I’m looking into other options now. Shaving it off is the easiest solution and should always be tried first but it’s not for everyone and that’s ok too.

The guy wasn't fooling anyone at the gym. The middle aged folks were probably thinking of having an intervention with the guy before. So he shows up bald at the gym one day and the "dads" look at baldy and think "Finally! Our boy is a man now.", not because he looks older but because he finally got the guts to confront the inevitable progression of time head on.

I shaved my head 3 months ago. I was nervous but the result is awesome! Fell free, no more thin hair and thinking about transplant. Just shave it off, never fell better. This chanell rocks😁

I got a form diffused alopecia out of nowhere and took a razor to it immediately. I couldn't handle the thought of seeing it in the mirror every morning and having to hide it. What made matters worse is that I'd just begun taking better care of it again and my hair had significantly improved in terms of moisture, texture and split ends. It may still be capable of growing back, but I won't be holding my breath. The razor life wasn't so bad after a few weeks of intense staredowns in the mirror. Once you adapt to your new face the hurdle has been overcame. Liberate yourselves and shave it off! Dealing with that every morning is like punching yourself in the nutsack.

Maybe I have a terrible personality or something (I truly don't think it's bad) but I have not had a date in the year after shaving it off. I wasn't feeling particularly negative about it, until I realized women started treating me differently. Used to get warm smiles and compliments somewhat often on campus. Now when I make eye contact with random people, it's not this friendly feeling anymore. I don't know what changed besides my hair. I'm trying to smile and appear my best. I don't know...

I have long dreads tied up and halfway down my back. I've always loved my hair so there is a bit of emotional attachment to it but the toll of age, increasing level of maintenance, the relevance of the style, usefulness and heaps of other thumbs-down factors are creeping up to a no-more-denying it point. There's a good chance I will be shaving bald in the next few weeks. Maybe I will ask my 11 year old daughter to do it! :D It is scary because my hair isn't growing much anymore so there is no going back once it's done. It will be a very emotional experience, I'm sure of it, but I look forward to having my freedom and self-confidence back. Thanks so much for the openness and honesty of this video. All the points raised resonate heavily with me.

@@DTOLL9000 Drugs like that have side effects, and hair transplant is a costly and slow process.I agree he looked better with hair, as do most people, but this isn't about appearance, it's about owning it and not letting it dictate your life.

@@beckyquin8365 It’s not a one size fits all approach to going bald, It’s absolutely devastating to the confidence for many to the point they never actually recover from it and just cope as they have no choice. A bald guy is never the natural choice of any woman, it’s a defect they don’t want passing on their offspring. I wish it was that simple but it’s been over a decade for me and I’ve never gotten over it, I’m just coping!

i wish i would have shaved mine sooner. When you look at athletes like Michael Jordan, how much better he looked without hair, or Kobe Bryant... of course they have great bone structure. A great physique is more than helpful as well! Great couple here.He looks great!

Unrelated to this video, but something to consider. I feel like nearly every bloke forgets to train/strengthen their dam necks. It's such an easy way to look more manly and attractive and so easy to train. Just google thick neck vs skinny neck. Harry ano you've been on Kris's podcast (1stman, great bloke) have you saw his neck transformation?😂 It's nuts.

Whenever anyone comments on my lack of hair I say it's "just high testosterone", and in over 25 years the only reaction I have had is a pleasing 'confused how to respond' small laugh, and it's ended any further comments 🙂 (I used to have hair down to my chest that started thinning in my early 20's and I shaved it off after having several people comment on it). One thing that I have always thought interesting is that I thought i and my head shape was awkward and I looked 'daft' , only to have several men mention to me that I looked great with no hair and that they wanted to shave their heads but it wouldn't suit them - so just do it: far more important things to focus on.

My girlfriend left me on the first sign of baldness I started balding at 24 but it rapidly progressed in 3 years now 4th grade baldness I can’t embrace like you people do here everyone calls me uncle even people who are twice my age due to baldness but every bald guys we are blessed with great beard. Even though I style my beard differently first eye contact goes to my top I.e head. Then they start judging, due to this constant judgement I started to wear caps, hat which ever hides the head and bald area. It’s definitely devastating when your parents, relatives and friends tease you in every situation they get because am going completely bald. Baldness is emotionally devastating. I will try to get buzz cut one day. Hair implantation is the only way after trying that I will get a buzz cut. But balding started when I started to loose weight and to get shredded it took 2.5 years same way my hair loss increased. I know lost hair can not be regrown again so I have achieved aesthetic now but no one not even a single person appreciates the aesthetic body everyone eyes goes to top bald head. You are doing great work by helping others it should reach everyone even the relatives , friends and family members who have bald people in your circle you don’t know what they are going through we are not asking you to compliment us just don’t tease anyone who is going through baldness.

i had a hair thing like that at 24 and once you get it you cant be attractive to any women that knew you before..they look at you as a loser. You look to be 30 and already have a committed girlfriend so a totally different situation than i had. Good luck to you though

It's legitimately heartbreaking that hair loss can cause such deep seeded confidence problems that put them in a constant state of insecurity. Most dudes don't jus look good with a bald head but they look like a badass younger them! That's not just me saying it... Most women say it too. Besides the physical appearance the HUGE change for the better is their confidence. Plus.. The amount of money saved could be used where it counts. Not for nothing but if your girl has a problem with it knowing how great it makes him feel all around... She's not worth it.

Hairloss? Fuck it. I am trying to stay away from going on hemo dialysis. I have bigger problems then fucking hair. Staying alive with kidney disease and failure is slightly more concerning.

There's a war on masculinity. It's why we are self-conscious about this in the first place. As men we shouldn't be. If there's anything that symbolizes manhood, it's hairloss. Rock it with that mentality. Add a good physique to the recipe and you will display the full physical essence of a man.
