There's actually a short story from the White Dwarf of August 2019 where Guardsmen are fighting Tyranids and get annihilated, only for Space Marines to appear in scaly, azure blue armor. They help the Guardsmen who are enthralled by them and are grateful. The marine then says 'For the Emperor' :)

Although im not a fan of the alpha legion I’ve often had the same thought! I have also wondered what they know about the dark angels my preferred legion but that’s a conversation for another day. Great hypothesis though.

@@JD-jr8nq Aaah, the First! They're my pick as well. Alpha Legion are in my top five, but Lion's Angels are still top of the pile as far as I'm concerned. With the Fallen in mind, Lord Cypher's movements have a certain... Alpharius-ness about them, don't you think? I'm not suggesting that Cypher is/was one of the Twins in disguise, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if there's some sort of conspiracy or connection going on there between the Fallen and the Hydra.

I actually think that Alpharius who was loyal to the Emporer, it is why he joined Horus, to aid in ending chaos, it was Omegon that was not, as it was him who aided the forces of the emmporer to get back to Terra, so the emporer would win, so we would have war without end

@@baldermort If they would have stayed with the loyalist, chaos wouldn't had a chance in the great War. The XXth is highly underappreciated and I really like the shroud of mysterie around them. We still don't know, if they are still going for long game and the triumph over the Chaos Gods, or if they are truly fallen. Even the eldar can learn some tricks from the Alpha Legion =D Man this univers is so fascinating.

Do we deserve less? I personally thought this one was sub par, but time was against me. We deserve the best, the brothers and sisters here - so I will do all I can to make that happen. :) Thank you for taking the time to listen and then comment. It means a lot. :)
