@@assettocorsaking it depends. most of the time, the only way devs are finding bugs in a game like this is by people actively playing the game and stumbling across them or by testers stress testing various sections of the game. However, the more moving pieces there are, the easier it is to have things mess up without an easy way of tracing the cause. In theory, (and often in practice) something as inconsequential an exact piece of gear you're wearing, or the number of items in your inventory, or messed up loot pools could easily make a bug like this happen. Also, if they don't have a large internal testing team or other (more critical) bugs were solved in the patch, they might have shipped it with a minor bug like this if priorities like budget and time were a factor. Trust me, after working QA I generally give the actual coders the benefit of the doubt. They usually hate seeing stuff like this and even the soulless AAA/royale publishers often shackle devs with nonsensical limitations/expectations.
