As far as i know, there should be the option to follow him when we speak with him after the victory. But I might be wrong. I didn't trigger that option, so I dunno :/ Can someone here confirm it? I have read it somewhere a few time ago. Personally, I have to play it again and it requires time lol

I haven't replayed the game yet, but from the data mining I saw, yes, we can go with him now. Wouldn't make sense otherwise for this epilogue to exist.

Oh thank God! My first playthrough I was like: hmmm stay in Balder's Gate or go with Halsin to help him fulfill his new dream? WHY CAN'T I GO?!?!?! Head canon filled in the gaps. I'm excited to replay the game now.

I romanced him solo and chose the option to see Thaniel's realm when he was speaking of the orphans in Baldur's Gate (after the final fight). So yes, I'll confirm that the narrator does say you go with him almost right away. 😊

@@aranyaphoenix from my playthrough you get astarion's epilogue but at the party when you talk to halsin, the dialogue suggests he hasn't seen you in 6 months and he talks about his life in thaniels realm.. you can ask for multiple hugs and kisses though, and when talking to some other charas like owlbear and jaheira it suggests that you do live with him occasionally so its a bit unclear

@@aranyaphoenix EDIT: OMG I reloaded one last time, and holy crap there IS acknowledgement of SH as well as Halsin!! There's a very specific dialogue chain, but taking the "I'll miss you/I want to keep seeing you" options *without* asking him to stay with you* gets you an option to plan meeting him at his new home later. Once at the party, you still get some neutral dialogue, but *after* hugging him, there's an option to kiss him - *that* leads to repeated options to kiss/hug and more romance related dialogue. Exhaustive to find, but VERY worth it. Not sure about Astarion, but with SH she dominates the end game dialogue, so unless you essentially break up with her you go with her and stay 'maybe later' with Halsin. In my current run (which I repeated the end 3 times now to see if I messed something up so I tried a bunch of endgame dialogue to check) at the afterparty he acts as if you had something but there isn't even a kiss option. You can hug him and reminisce, but there's even one line where is says "if I knew that I would have visited you in your tent" or something like that. No matter what option I choose at end game, it looks like you don't get to keep both, which sucks, because they clearly care for each other and SH talked about settling down in a quiet village with a garden during the game! NGL I'm a bit gutted. Esp after 10 HOURS of replaying the final quest to see if I stuffed anything up lol😭

I romanced both, you spend the 6 months with astarion but you still get flirty/kissy with halsin at the party and astarion has no comment on it. Noone commented on my characters relationship with halsin, but he still gives you a duck and says all the sweetest things

Green flag? If open relationship is a green flag - then yes. Before the scene with him he literally says "I am not a wolf to find a love for the whole life, I am a bear and go where the life leads". The biggest disappointment of the game

He still says that even when you're settled down in Thaniel's realm? In that case I take it back lol. I don't like open-relationships, but I was hoping he had settled by the end of the game@@MrsMadnessPurple

@@alphacreatura1813 I don't know about the end of the game, but the moment I heard him saying these words, I decided to bring him back to Orin 😅 And yes, I helped him with all his problems, if your Tav is single, he says it 🤡 and it actually explained the old ending where Halsin went without Tav (he's just a bear who goes where the life takes him.... Boo, you're hoe (c) my Tav)

@@alphacreatura1813 the first time I romanced Halsin was with the parallel romance with Astarion, so Halsin didn't say anything this controversial. So now I truly believe that Halsin just wanted a piece of Astarion cake (😏), not Tav. Tav is like an additional thing that can be fcked and thrown away (yes, I took Halsin's words personally 🤣)

And his words actually explain why he participated so eagerly in brothel party with twins 🤔

the epilogue is set 6 months after the end of the game so not quite enough time to have children but i will be ignoring that fact and pretending that's exactly what he meant :P
