Baldur's Gate 3 Honour Mode Solo | The Hag Auntie Ethel | Sorcerer Warlock | No Damage | Fighting the Pawns + Cutscene and Rolls
In Honour mode, this battle can still be a little challenging because, should she manage to "Hold Person" you with her clones, it's game over.
I looked for a Scroll of Silence for hours, taking partial rests and exchanging with vendors, but I eventually discovered that they aren't available (at least not that I know of, based on input from other people). I made the decision to try my luck and see if I could get her into a prone condition with reverberation, and I was successful. She cannot cast her Legendary Action after being put in a prone condition.
This battle will get much more challenging if you choose to ignore the pawns at the entrance, since she will summon them along with her clones during the battle.
Although I didn't catch a clip of my equipment in this video, it was the same equipment as my Grym no hit solo, which I completed after Ethel. If you would want to see a sample of the gear, I'll give you the URL to the Grym solo here. If not, the description contains a list of every piece of equipment I utilized.

When I think I'm really good at this game some people appear on youtube. So humbling. I defeated ethel almost flawlessly but using stealth, teamwork and resources. This video is incredible.

If you need to silence her you can craft a weapon who can silence ennemies with the quest "Finish the Masterwork Weapon" It only requires a greatsword/dagger/sicle and a special piece of wood in the Underdark

That's a great point. I did craft the dagger, but considering how I would lose damage and might not be able to 1 turn her since this will replace my phaalar aluve, I figured revertebration will do just as a good job in preventing her from doing her legendary action, I had to chose to take this risk and it paid off well. I do highly recommend that dagger though, it is super good for this fight, perfect for piercing/rogue builds early game, or any class that can off hand it.

@@Kukutiel40411 Maybe you could have killed her in few more turns but yes you lose the one shot potential Maybe you can create a mage hand who throw the dagger before or during the fight

The weird thing for me is I killed her in the tea house in my current honor run, which I wasn't able to do in my normal run, lol!

@@Kukutiel40411 I didn't prepare for it, but Tav, Laezel and Karlach all crit first round and proned her. I did think about letting her yeld by skipping turn. But was too afraid she running away and I really don't want to fight her below, so just finished her. It is honor mode, risk is too high.

How do you get the Loviatar’s love bonus while being full hp? Do you injure yourself somehow beforehand and get back to full?

I might be wrong, but I think that the bonus shows up on your character no matter what, it just doesn't activate until you hit the HP threshold.

@@dudewatevs56Indeed it always shows up the moment you receive the buff. It goes away if your character dies. Also It only activates if you have 30% HP.

Do you retain Mystra's bless after unequipping the staff?

Your character gains a bless concentration bonus from the Staff of Arcane Blessing. What's great about this buff is that it also grants Mystra's blessing, so even if you remove the bless concentration, the advantages of bless remain. This buff functions similarly to the Gontr Mael, Darkfire Shortbow, in that it possesses player-buffing abilities. Contrary to some items, such as the Phalar Aluve, which derive their bonus from the weapon itself, removing the item would also remove the buff when using Phalar Aluve's Shriek (for example).

why didnt her legendary action trigger when you cast magic missile on her? I assumed it would have triggered since it is a spell

I was thinking the same thing - I'm guessing it's related to the effects being applied. Maybe reverberation causing her to go prone doesn't allow her to use reactions?

Revertebration prone makes it so she can't make a reaction. I put in the description that I spent hours looking for a silence scroll to avoid this lol! I gave up, so I took a gamble and prayed for revertebration to proc. Most legendary actions in this game are reactions, so crowd controls are big counter to them. :)

@@Kukutiel40411 I was looking for that in my normal play through too. Then I learnt Larian removed silence scroll because it is not suppose to be learnt by wizard. Thought that was a bit over kill, lol!

I only steal certain tools, spells, potions, and other goods that I can sell for a profit. When I steal something, I always make sure that I'm using disguise self and that my Shapeshifter's Boon Ring is on. In addition, if you happen to fail a sleight of hand check, you may simply use potion of invisibility, run away, return with a new disguise, and rinse and repeat until you have all the necessary items you want. The disguise adds +1-4 rolls on all checks with shapeshifter's boon. Additionally, having partial rests at camp replenishes their supplies, allowing you to keep stealing until you're absurdly wealthy! Volo in the camp has a ton of awesome scrolls that increase in level and is constantly replenished each partial rests. If you make a mistake during a sleight of hand check, he simply leaves and returns, which is rather bizarre.
