@Forbidden Math "basically just another spellcaster class with some bonus flavor" is A: virtually zero information and B: worthless, all spellcaster classes function very differently.

I watched the livestream and it sounds like Sven and the team feel a bit pressured to release the game as soon as possible. I just want to say that I appreciate you taking your time to do the game proper. I'd wait 2 more years if I have to. The game looks amazing.

@@brunoluizferreira99 the point I'm trying to make is that if they rush the release, it will not be the full game, but a cut down version with questionable stability and I don't want that. I want the release to feature everything the team planned for the game, that would be the full game. If I wanted to play unfinished rushed messes, there's plenty to choose from already.

wow im sort of stunned how good this trailer is. they really thought "how do we present the bard to our players?" and picked the best possible way they could have done it. what legends. even the updates are overflowing with passion and effort. larian studios in a nutshell

That's cool to have the Gnomes but can we finally have a more "bulky" race? I mean you gave us the Barbarian class but we have no Orc/Half-Orc or even a bodytype to fit that class.

Was wishing they brought the new body types in this update but i guess they'll wait till its time to add half-orc? We know buff body types are thing because of datamining (and some npcs are buff a/f so no excuse to not let us be too!).. Now its only a matter of time till they give us the option lol

@@Marin117. I bet you're right. Like they reworked throwing for the Barbarian release and added Expertise for Bard. They tend to add less essential features based on how important they are for bigger ones. So it would make sense that they would focus on buff bodies for the Half Orc release.

I don't think it'd be controversial to ask for multiple body types for all races but I also think it's more important they work on the core mechanics first.

Its comments like this that make the developers feel like hey have to rush. They've already said their touching each playerable race is the handbook so be paitent until the race you wanna play is available

@@j.w.7608 LMAO. That's not making them feel like they have to rush. The game is developed by professions that have roadmaps and schedules months in advance even if we don't see them. The game isn't made by anxious immatures that are gonna cancel the game cause cause people on the internet gave their brains booboos.

As far as I know in the full game all of the schools will be included (necromancy, illusion, enchantment, war, …). But probably no more will come in early access

Its a patchday for 8, for 1st question its up to you, I have ~300 hours because I know its maybe 1/4 and I will be still hooked for a release but I cant guarantee it for you xD

I have played all content once. I don't regret it cause I got a feel for the game & what classes I like and the content isn't much so it's not a huge spoiler. Plus there's a ton of choices so you can do things differently each time.

Stop on level Cap when? I can't bring myself to keep playing / testing because I reach cap in about 2 hours. Motivations out the window. Also makes me wonder how this will affect End Game unlike DOS 2 because you could try to squeeze another level in or some form of progression.

@@hdb999 Act 1 has at least 30-40 hours of content in its current state and that's just for one playthrough. the final games is going to be insane
