2 things I love bout this play thru 1 the idea of a drow saying slippies and 2 kruz picking up more then half the drow moms she meets on the way while narrator fights tooth and nail to win carmine

I make Karlach an Elderich Knight, works well or Paladin. Gale I multiclass with monk. Shadowheart I always go with Tempest Cleric/Rogue if I need a rogue.

I wonder if Kruz knows you can still used the benched Companions/ Hirelings to pre-buff your party, i.e. they might not wanna keep Shadowheart or Gale in their party, but they can still get them to cast spells that last until long rest & then leave them in camp, i.e.: → *SHADOWHEART* - Aid - Warding Bond - Heroes' Feast - Protection from Energy - Death Ward - Shield of Faith - Freedom of Movement - Protection from Poison - Daylight - Enhance Ability - Pass Without Trace - Protection from Evil and Good → *GALE* - False Life - Dark Vision - Mage Armour - Expeditious Retreat - Protection from Energy - Stoneskin - Longstrider - Magic Weapon - See Invisibility - Protection from Evil and Good It's a minor hassle to switch back & forth, but it can definitely help you save spell slots. Maybe Kruz should try it on her next playthrough, especially if she bumps the difficulty up to Tactician. You can also do that w/ Hirelings from Withers lol, or just take advantage of their race/ class bonuses in other ways, i.e. keep a Halfling Hireling in camp to brew potions since they get double yield.

Hear me out Durge Anakin Skywalker Starting as a barbarian (because he relies on anger) then you can branch into warlock choosing archfey (the force is within every living thing)

You two are hilarious!!! Love your playthrough! Karlach needs to max her strength/use hill giant potions. Or use the a potion of heroism/bless or weapons with a +1 or better. Otherwise just respec her as a Fighter focusing on either strength or dex. and using the appropriate weapon type. Or maybe Ranger with a pet if you're into more animals. BTW there's a Mighty Cloth increases Strength by +2 sold in Act 2 by Tillie. Also, Monk Open Hand Rocks!! Especially with Tavern Brawler as another option.
