I like how Larian gave it all their strength and energy and never looked back or even thought about the consequences. It is pure art, it is what a creation should be. Not just something to generate income or popularity, but a daring reflection of neverending love for video-games that stand on the same ground with other works of art. It is the purest ambition, what they created, and that is why it deserves all our love and support.

Baldur's Gate III is so far ahead of every other game ever released, even the almighty RDR2, that no other game will be able to be a 10/10 after its release. All these devs saying "oh please don't compare us against them", are just lazy/incompetent. The only game to eclipse them will be Starfield of course. Since Starfield will be the first 11/10.

My favourite is at 0:54 min after squirel drop the nut of some weird bear scene that female idk who she is. It went silent she look at you and it rotate up-down while she looked at you and the music went tngg.........lute and scream must fel out of the chosen one- EPIC

40 here and can't wait! Remember playing BG1 on a then brand new Compaq computer with a friend of mine and then later BG2 , Icewind Dale, Never winter nights etc. Love DOS2 and Larians approach , they are definitely the right crew to do it justice!

Expect last chapter to be pretty buggy. Same as with Pathfinder games and Divinity OS 1/2. Dont forget to make a lot of different saves, do not overwrite save files. Even if they are hours apart. This will save you a headache of replaying tens of hours or even a hundred, in case you get save breaking bug.

I remember as a kid when I played Neverwinter Nights 2, it has a special place among my favourite games (and it was one of the first games I finished), and this game revived the same feelings I felt that time. I can't wait to play it

Man I've never seen a beholder look that intimidating before. Usually it's the concept or mechanic of a beholder that makes him scary but here the pure depiction was terrifying. Absolutely amazing.

Some beholders look really menacing. Others look really, really, REALLY goofy. (Some of their first appearances in 2nd Ed artwork are great examples. XD) But regardless of their look, you do NOT treat beholders (and their eye-rays) lightly!

I think the teeth are a bit much, when I think of what is dangerous with a beholder, I don't think their teeth. I think their stare and their magic and their tentacles. Feels odd to give something that has so many other ways to kill you a large mouth of teeth.

Beholders have quite a strong Chaos influence in their bloodline; it's why every single beholder, even among the same sub-species can look so radically different. It also means that some beholders have really big, protruding teeth, but others will have quite small, even dainty teeth. But despite a fearsome look, beholder bites are, as you know, not very dangerous. They actually have quite weak bite strength compared to other monsters of similar size. It's why beholders only tend to use their bites in fights with other beholders, when the anti-magic cone of their central eyes makes an eye-ray battle largely useless.

I haven't been this hyped about a game in a long time, and this will probably be the last D&D-related thing I ever put time into (having already pr-ordered a year ago) since the WOTC/Hasbro controversies. My thanks to the folks at Larian Studios for this masterpiece (and D:OS 1 and 2). You keep being awesome, and you big bosses remember to treat your employees like the amazing people they are.

I'll be honest, when I 1st saw the news there was a BG3 game being worked on (and this was well before early access), I was over the moon! However I was also expecting it to be in the same style as BG's 1&2, and I'd have been totally happy with that. What Larian has done has surpassed my wildest expectations and they should be praised for their result.

In case you didn't see the 3 hour livestream yesterday... this teaser was in regards to the Romance portion of the game. There's 10+ romance options in BG3, which is a direct shot at Starfield which only has 4 romance options....

One of the most outstanding things for me in Baldurs Gate 3 is the music. Absolutely amazing. For that alone I'm looking forward to the game xD (For anything else too of course)

I was blown away with the beta and put it in more than 40 hours alone on one character. Yes Im slow, but that’s the whole point of BG3. I hate rushing into completing a game so fast. I hope they win GOTY and GOAT!

The shot of the squirrel dropping the acorn in shock is making me feel like there's going to be a love triangle and relationship chart mechanic that's going to get extremely confusing to follow as the journey goes on as friendships and romances start piling up

Bought it in the first week of early access and for the past three years got 500 hours through multiple patches, trying different classes, testing outcomes of picking different races, subclasses, etc. And I wanna warn you, the devil is in the details, and BG3 has a lot of them. It was really a joy to observe the quality growth of this game and how Larian reacts to requests of the community. I am just happy that people will experience such a rpg nowadays. It reminds me a lot of Dragon Age: Origins and that is not a comparison you can casually throw. Realistically, I can not be 100% sure that the game is so great, cause it is not fully released yet, but I do not encourage anyone to buy it mindlessly. Wait for the first reviews, you will see what I mean. We are going to have such a ride ❤

@@benro4713 Have only two playthroughs of DOS 2. The last one was quite a while ago. Feels like BG 3 has more opportunities to solve any given problem, and in it’s core you can decide to join, use and destroy or anything in between with any faction that you meet. For the first time for me it was a mind blowing fact. DOS 2 has more various combat system with all of the combos that you can make, in DnD 5e you simply can not cast so much spells and turn the battlefield into Afghanistan, but these abilities make a bigger impact. In conclusion, both these games admire player’s intellect.

@@benro4713 Just realized that you probably meant a different thing😄 Yes, this game will always react to your race, class and subclass. A tiefling will receive an arrogant “hornes” in his address a lot, a devotion paladin will receive a vision from his god to not trust a group of oathbreakers that he just met, a wizard or sorcerer will not fall for merchant’s deception to sell him a “magical” ring, a rogue will receive an opportunity to convince the guards of some highly valuable chest to trick their own organisation into thinking they lost it and to share the reward within themselves afterwards, a drow always will be met with suspicious, etc. Hope I gave you enough examples of what you can expect in terms of “details” from this game.

The animations at the start of this teaser are crazy good! Wasn't expecting that at all. And then the rest of this teaser is well paced and directed too (lol squirrel), this is the kind of teaser/trailer I love to see in a game's marketing, 10/10 job!

Probably just specific to the promotional trailer. The animations in EA are stiff and clumzy.

@@edenarchive4150 They're clearly in-game animations. The only thing that's specific to the teaser is the quick cuts between them. But yeah, in EA the non-facial animations have often been a bit clunky, which is why seeing such smooth in-game animations in this teaser is so cool! They really upped their game for the official release, and I can't wait!

After being indecisive about whether to purchase it or not, your last stream has truly convinced me that this game is absolutely worth buying. It offers an abundance of choices, impeccable direction, outstanding voice acting, impressive animation, and a wealth of content that guarantees replay value. It's simply amazing!
