In the third installment of The Panel From Hell, our very first LarPG, we came to you live from Gravensteen castle in Belgium! We explored some of the content for Patch 5 as you took the reins and decided which way the adventure would go by voting in chat.

Never been more excited to try out a "non content" focused patch. Thank you Larian for listening to the community. I know most of us appreciate your willingness to try things out (ie. the resting system).

Absolutely, well said Wolf! These features are definitely very good for the full game, and every single one of them looks REALLY good. Also the new rolling system and camp resources feel more like true D&D, which is a VERY good thing!

@@Enzevil I never played any DnD games but I love immersion and the authenticity of worlds in games. If I didn't save myself for the full BG3 Release (after having played through it just once), I'd be over the moon with this patch being the best one ever. Swen really knows what he's doing

Also makes sense. Thats how i disabled a rusty claw trap i found on my grandfathers farm in Vryheid. Granted I used Biltong and not salami but the premise is the same. Still wonder why there was a trap on the farm to begin with

I really hope Sven doesn't sacrifice puppies and kittens in his basement. I mean, right now Larian seems like a beacon of hope in the middle of a sea of companies using microtransactions and releasing unfinished or broken games.

wow ,i havent seen any such enthusiasm for many many years since blizzard earlier years of starting the business,i just hope your company doesnt end up like blizzard and co in this industry due to big companies buying them all up and put ppl on position with no clue about games and and love for their games.I wish u all good luck for the future and thx for your great work.

Larian Please consider releasing expansions after base game is completed. Any subclasses/races not able to be completed in the base game should be added as reasonable DLC. I preordered the game and i would happily buy the expansions. You could also consider adding modules as well. Any and all of this i would happily pay more for.

They always were. They had the grace of not blowing up in the 00's and could leverage the 10's crowdfunding ability to self-publish. Thus, avoiding the Activision corporate corruption.

@@megakaren2160 I doubt they ever were. They intentionally dropped their long-time publisher in the early 10's so they could self-publish and have creative freedom. DOS1 was their make or break and I'm glad to have supported them through it.

Keep up the great work, guys. Best CRPG developer out there, hands down. All the other CRPGs out there are missing one crucial aspect that makes d&d so enjoyable - playing with friends. Mind-boggling that divinity and bg3 are the only games that have this feature.

Con las historias tan profundas que tienen es una pena que no lo doblen al español, sin ello cuesta mucho integrarse en la historia para muchos (aún hablando ingles). Yo nunca hubiera dedicado tanto tiempo al Baldur´s Gate I y II si no hubiera estado doblado.

This whole thing gave me an idea: D&D-based escape rooms. A member of the staff (on a PA system) would be the DM, and each person would get (or make) a character sheet at the start. Players would be able to find the main hints in the environment, but they could roll checks to help (Intelligence checks could give partial solutions, Wisdom checks could give more hints, and Charisma checks could be used with NPCs/actors in the environment). That way, they could still make progress even if they fail the checks.

With the deep stories they have, it is a pity that they do not bend it to Spanish,, without it it costs a lot to integrate into the story for many (even speaking English). I would never have spent so much time on Baldur's Gate I and II if it hadn't been dubbed.
