I'm in act 3 rn, and whenever I go to camp and hear this music, I begin miss how much more simple act 1 was The adventure had just begun, you found your companions, and all of you were ready to go look for the cure. You're not quite friends yet, but slowly, you're starting to get to know each other

I just finished Act 1, and started Act 2. I'm amazed at the game. I will re-play it a lot of times, with different characters and choices. It's that good.

If you're looking for another fun adventure not really RPG though but one with a great story. Plague Tale Innocence, then Plague Tale Requiem.

the song is called “i want to live” but it’s the instrumental music:) if you want the one with voices go in the camp they show here behind Astarions tent (on the rock) the one with voices will start (but you have to stay there for the voiced music)

i would say the story that plays out while you hear these songs largely adds weight to the music especially how bg3 ques them so effectively. any party member story with the music is impactful

This game is an example that it's not nostalgia that makes us miss good games, it's that these games are in fact GOOD games. The OST is clearly composed with intent of providing atmosphere and emotion. It had a direction. They knew what they wanted with this game.

@@Danileptic I was the same with Dragon Age Origins...only ever played it the once, but I loved it so much and how it ended that I couldn't bring myself to do it over again, even if it wasn't a happy ending. Both games are masterpieces.

I feel like it's genuinely the kind of game I personally would play over and over again just the same way for that sense of comfort and dopamine. like when you find a dish at a restaurant you REALLY like and go back for it every time... except spread over 60+ hours lol

The feels of this tracks… it touches my soul to the core. Nostalgic, hope, sadness, love… it covers it all. Also sweet scene in the background like, your companions awaiting you patiently at camp wanting to be part of your adventures. Knowing you come back and they stand by you. Love the fact that all of them would have never been friends without that tadpod. Also can say how different we all can be and uniting for a common cause its what the world needs to learn from this to be more united.

I dreaded needing to go to camp to switch out party members and spending so much time doing inventory management or switching out character builds/classes. Thankfully the soundtrack was a major banger. Having finished the game after spending hundreds of hours on it, listening to the camp songs feels so nostalgic and calming.
