Another great fan base team made it. Sadly Barcelona team bans Zalgiris team fans to enter the game. They only give 150 tickets to the fans. I hope Partizan and Maccabi will come to Kaunas just for their great fans.

Same was with Partizan fans when we played in Barcelona....They didnt alow us to enter Blaugrana even so we already had tickets ...

Maccabi suffered the same situation , monaco closed online sales and limited purchases to non israelis .. little did they knew maccabi fans determination.

Love Maccabi! Great basketball, the recruiting and the tactical plan has the name o David Blutt all over the place! Personally I never understood why fans use national flags instead of team flags (in general)

If you ask Maccabi fans: it is because they represent Israel, and for many years Maccabi was like an unofficial nation team, everybody in Israel supported Maccabi. If you ask Maccabi rival fans: it is because they have no actual Israelis, so they use flags to remind themselves that this team represents Israel. Even yesterday, the EL team who's Israelis scored the most points was Partizan and not Maccabi.

It was the Israeli Independence day but Maccabi was founded as a Zionist project trying to create an Israeli club that can play in the top levels when the country was barely exists and mostly full of desserts and swamps… hope that helps in understanding, at least in maccabi’s case
