I feel ya. A week or two ago, Expert seemed too slow and boring, but Expert+ seemed practically impossible. Now I can almost do Expert+... In fact I can, a lot of the time, and sometimes even get an A or B. But this f***ing song, man... Must have tried over 50 times so far.

It's a crazy increase of difficulty to expert... many hours spent in practice mode at 50% lol

There absolutely is a mod for that! It's how I practiced, you can select a portion of the song and even the speed, I started at 50% and increased it by 10% only when I nailed it bit by bit Edit: Actually practice mode looks to be part of the regular game instead of a mod, click the little teacher hat next to 'Play'

@@juliabeatsbeatsaber6991 Thanks! I just finished it this morning with an A! It's really interesting how after struggling really hard, then getting a good night's sleep, it's suddenly easier. I think it's because sleep is when learning actually occurs in your brain. I was doing practice mode, but found it frustrating how long it took to get to the part where I kept failing. OhShape has a cool feature you can not only adjust the speed (which can you do in a normal game, but it affects your points), you can tell it: I want to practice the 15 seconds of the song starting at 1:32, and it just does it on a loop. But anyway, I think in the end, it just comes down to the time you put in. Sometimes I do it in slow-motion, and sometimes I just put it on No Fail mode, and just go through the entire playlist, and I just do my best, and if I get a D or an E, whatever, maybe I'll do slightly better next time. So my advice to anyone who wants to be able to Expert+ would be: do as I say and not as I do, and don't stress it. Just keep it at and enjoy the ride. It's like any skill. Do it every day, probably doesn't even need to be a huge amount of time every day, and you'll get there eventually.

Indeed. It's ridiculous how wonderful Expert map is, and how they trashed everything in Expert+, making it just a straight set of notes without all those nice different patterns.
