Bali is Southeast Asia's paradise for surfers, culture vultures and beach lovers. In this episode I show you a beautiful island, half an hour by boat from Bali. The Nusas are three tropical islands with wonderful tropical beaches, beautiful hotels, good food and incredible nature. We drive around with a scooter and also visit Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan.
We are visiting Indonesia during a one year world tour and maybe we will even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, Bahamas, United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar and Thailand. Indonesia is already our seventeenth destination. Follow us on this world trip, first to Bali, the rest of Indonesia and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross to Oceania and Africa! Why the heck aren't you wearing helmets while riding the scooter?

We rented the scooter and found out that the companies don’t even have helmets 😂 a reason you probably didn’t expect. However, there is no car traffic on the island and you can just decide to drive no faster than 20. Thanks for the concern though 😉

Defenitely Jungut Batu, because you also have a lot of ‘free’ swimming pools at some places you eat or drink. We loved this beach. Not so crowded and nice hangout spots.

How was the boat trip to Nusa Lembongan? Was the ocean calm? Do you reccommend it with a 3 year old boy?

Hi Chiara, my boy was also 3 at the time 😜 so would be weird if I said no! The boat trip was very calm. We even had some rougher sea when we went to Gili Islands. Have you seen that episode too? He was fine on that boat ride too. Kids seem to have little problems with the sea, compared to us adults 😅

Thanks Doy! No not at all actually. On Bali I used the drone everywhere as well and security’s or police were very friendly, just standing next to me sometimes having a chat 😝

Indonesia is a tourism place that will make you appreciate life, not just a fun tourist spot. I can't recommend the name of the volcano you want to visit, because you can choose from a wide variety of volcanoes in different shapes, looks, feel, vibrations and distances. You forgot to mention that : *very narrow roads are absolutely terrible to drive * next to beautiful places are rubbish dumps - very common in all Asia except Japan * everything is covered in dust * local people are very friendly and look happy Everything else is in your video is correct

I wouldn’t know, unfortunately. We didn’t do a lot of snorkeling here. We did a snorkeling tour on Nusa Penida, which is about 20 bucks a person for a half day. We had a private boat with the 5 of us. Did you watch that episode as well? For Nusa Lembongan should be about the same I guess.
