It was really touching or even moving to watch you being spoon fed by the host. As though a father feeding her beloved daughter upon her return to him after a very long time!! If there's heaven it is right here in Bali. You get so much for so little!!!

I think the reason why you always get to find the goodness in bali is just because you two show goodness too. I can see that from the way u guys interact with the locals. It is so respectful. And only goodness can bring u good as well. Love both of u hope u're enjoying your stay there.

tum is a traditional balinese steamed meat wrapped in banana leaf. My late mom used to make yummy fish or chicken tum. Some part of Indonesia I think also have variation of this dish, but with very different ingredients. I'm sure almost all balinese love this dish.

The traditional way, local wisdom inspired by nature, organic approach, sustainable way to tell about Bapak's Incredible Heritages. So much philosophies. I just wondering,does he have an heir? And the counter where the food is mixed.. wow... in Vitaly's words.. "mantap"! mantap sekali! If only technology can transmit taste & fragrance as well... yumzzzz.. Can't wait to try nasi tekor & other Balinese cuisine. I have been to Bali for more than 10 times but I have never explored that island the way both of you are doing now. I definitely will follow your way to do it. Bali we will be coming soon as our International border & Bali International are open now. Hopefully you both are still enjoying your stay in Bali.
