After one full year of living in Spain, I was so grateful to be blessed of a trip back home to the Philippines. It was a beautiful chain of blessings beginning with a layover of a lifetime in Istanbul, seeing my family and their surprised looks, to be able to taste my comforting dishes, and most of all - being with my friends and family.
I have to be honest, Spain has now been home as much as what Philippines is, but most of my heart is still there because of the people who love me unconditionally - family who I can draw strength from, and friends who I can always count on.
