Well, looks like you have the JD 335 running good. Makes for good cattle hay, wish I had some of that. We ran short this year due to drought and cold temps during the spring. Hopefully we'll get a decent fall crop, fingers crossed. I always enjoy watching the haying, done it for over 30 years and I never get tired of it. Thanks for sharing, hope your having a good weekend.

I see you’ve said you don’t like reversing with it. So what I like to do on older tractors is just turn out of the row and make a loop. I use net so I end up turning out of the row and dumping the bale on the go and have the gate closed all while never stopping. With twine you could still do it fine. Just have to stop 10 feet beyond the row to dump. Better than letting hay sit in the field. I like that ol tractor. Like to find me an 1135 to cut with

The most important thing is you didn't lose one down the mountain!

I noticed on this video that you don’t back up before dumping a round bale. Most folks back up a couple of feet before dumping a round bale and that allows for not missing hay when closing the baler and continuing. Just a thought.

Looks like you are get the hang of round baling. Yeah, you either zigzag or make the windrow 4ft wide to bale. Baling on the side of a hill takes some getting used to too.

When the bale chamber is full, why dont you reverse a few yards back then let the bale out, that way you do not leave a bloody big clump of good hay on the ground, un-baled.

The 1105 shift linkage doesn’t lend itself well to shuttle shift, so I don’t.

Why don’t you back up when it’s tying the bale, or shut pto off before pulling a head? Better yet, make a bale ramp like NH has!

The 1105 shift linkage doesn’t lend itself well to shuttle shifting, so I don’t. Bale ramp would be nice, but we get along fine without one.
