I'm only 17, but until 2 years ago I desperately wanted to leave my beloved country Romania to go abroad. Let's say falling in love with a girl in the mountainside, in a cold November made me have a different view on life. I've visited every part of my country, from Sighet to Giurgiu, from Timișoara to Danube Delta, from Orșova, Târgu Jiu, Olt Valley, Hunedoara to Brașov, Cluj, Sibiu, Sighisoara, Covasna, Harghita, including Bucharest. The culture, the wisdom, the traditions these places convey a feeling that you get only if you're willing to see the real beauty of this country. I'm very grateful my parents took us across the country before visiting the Western world. I will try to return the favour one day. Cycling across Romania is also one of the most desired things I have in my mind as of now. Greetings from Iași ❤️💛💙

All's good and the country's beautiful. Until you encounter the public services and their idiotic mindset, bureaucracy and attitude. That's the moment you decide: is the environment and the landscapes iconic enough to make living in RO worth it? - What is more important: daily needs or breathtaking landscapes? ... 27 yo and really exhausted and tired of ROMANIA...

Song makes me feel for my people, the Pontian Greeks, expelled from their lands by the Young Turks, their homes and Churches destroyed, some converted into Mosques. My fellow Ethnic Christians of Anatolia, we shall never forget! #WeAreNativeAnatolia🙏🏼☦️✝️
@thmsacar3 ай бұрын
They were not expelled by Young Turks. They were forced to migrate according to an additional contract to the Lausanne Agreement of 1923, signed by Greece and Turkey. Greece also forced Muslims in their land to migrate to Turkey. This was totally a two sided thing which is arranged by Greece and Turkey. The real tragedy here is the Turks of Karaman, ethnic Turks who are Orthodox Christians. Although they spoke Turkish, they have been also forced to migrate as they were Orthodox. Meanwhile all Muslims in Greece, regardless of their ethnicity, has been sent to Turkey. Regarding the churches: naturally most of the churches in Greek Orthodox villages fell into ruin because of the lack of maintenance. Although certain amount of them have been looted by the locals, it is such a pessimistic belief to think all of them were destroyed by intention. After all churches are religious buildings which must to be respected by Muslims according to their faith. Using this as an argument is totally pointless as Greeks also destroyed, by intention or not, or converted many mosques in their reconquered lands. Conclusion, if you are making this comment to point out how hostility towards your neighbor with solely nationalist motivations can destroy innocent peoples life, then go ahead and do it. I am totally on your side. However, if you are trying to bring up an irrelevant topic with the aim of spreading hatred towards Turkey and its nation, I'd recommend you to read some history before doing that.

There are at least 2 singers, actually they vocalize than sing. The first is Jelena Tomasevic. I don't know who is the second singer who has a more opera style voice.
